I know I'm replying to this late but I've been very busy lately. I know how important fat is to a diet and didn't mean it quite so literally. It was just very late when I wrote this and I poorly worded it. Sorry about the confusion.

It's never to late, just look at Fauja Singh. He started running marathons at 89. (Albeit, I'm not the one to talk but still he's one impressive guy!)

Yeah, I know what you mean, it can be hard sometimes to look at photos of myself too. However, as cheesy as this sounds, I find the ones where I'm actually smiling and not smiling for the camera my best photos. It's important to be comfortable with yourself as hard as that may seem. You've already lost so much weight and…

Agreed, then you get to your section and it's like " oh look, we'll just through this sack on you and call it fashionable." It's like really? Er this was suppose to be a direct reply to trackmyday197. I must've messed up. Sorry, not the most tech savy person here!

We've all been there before. It doesn't matter what you did this weekend all that matters is what you're going to do now. This is about being a healthier you, not about winning the "who can lose weight fastest" competition. You'll get there and you've already done so well! Hang in there, it will be ok.

For my it's clothes shopping. Maybe I sound a little shallow but it's so hard to see something in a store that I think looks cute and then realize they don't have it in my size. I've also noticed that in some stores the sizes are different than in others, so sometimes I'll try something on that says it is my size but it's…

First of all, let me say congrats on losing 55 lbs! That's really amazing! Would love to get some more friends for encouragement and support.

Also keep in mind that what you eat is also an important factor. Try substituting a meal or snack that is high in fats with one that is more nutritionally balanced. It's never easy losing weight no matter you're situation, age, or how much you want to lose. That's why it's great we have a place like this so we can all help…

I'll admit I have a busy schedule during the week so finding time to keep up with everything can be difficult for me, But I usually have a good amount of downtime during the weekends to chat. Feel free to add =)

I'm in the same boat, wasn't on myfitnesspal for a while and haven't really changed much in the weight department. Hopefully we can both change that here. Feel free to add. =)

Yeah I think there's quite a few people out there that can relate. Sometimes I get so frustrated when I start up again. I keep thinking "if I hadn't stopped last time I'd be so much better now." I know it's a terrible way to think, and I like your idea better. If we have a mis-step it's not the end of the world

We're all in the same boat here, and we can all work hard together!

Hi Shannon. I've also got a long road ahead of me. Feel free to add me. =)

Have you tried watching tv or listening to music while you workout? I find lots of dance tunes really helps pass the time when I'm working out.
-
Each person is different, the important thing is to not give up. And don't forget to reward yourself for your hardwork. Take the time after every workout to tell yourself you did it, you pushed yourself just that much further.

I think it's important to have things in moderation. No one died from eating a little chocolate, just don't go out and eat an entire bag of hershey kisses. Also, I have a tendecy to go for the dark chocolate (and I mean the real bittersweet stuff) which I've heard is better than regular milk chocolate.

Bumping cause I'm also interested. On a side note, I have just dance 3 and I find it a much better cardio workout than the wii fit. I usually do an hour of it 3 times a week. *Edit for spelling*

Alright, I'll admit it. I'm that person you hear in the office/library clicking their pen constantly. I know, I know it's annoying, I'm trying to change my ways. :flowerforyou:

I'm from Attleboro, and am still new. Feel free to add =)

In all honesty too much of anything can kill you. In water's case, you almost need to be trying. All in all, just remember to take things in moderation.

I'm a big chobani fan! I think the apple one is my favorite but I try to have a variety. However, be careful because some of them, like the passion fruit one, have seeds. I know you can eat them but it's just weird in yogurt.

I'm 5'6" and I've been a fat kid all my life. I chose my goal weight as 130 because that's where my BMI would be securely in the ok zone. In all honesty, I'm trying not to get myself all worked up about how I'll look because I don't know what a 130 lb me looks like. My main focus is to just healthy. I come from a family…
