Add me. I am at a stand-still after loosing 30 since 1/1/13 to 5/1/13. I fell hiking last week landing on my right AC joint. Now I can only walk and do lower body at the gym for 6 weeks. I HATE IT, SO I WANT TO GRAZE.

Really enjoying elevated push ups with the swivel devices for hand position. My feet are on a six inch step. I started at 2 sets of eight. Doing 3 sets of 16 only three months later. GREAT Pec workout. Shoulder surgery ended 45 years of heavy Bench Pressing.

I did this for 47 years. I ate what ever I wanted, lost nothing, but kept saying, "It will come off if I add some jogging." NOT It came off when I went from 2500-4500 calories a day to 1700, with healthy choices.

two to four lbs.

Great JOB. What is current hight and weight? Mine "sort of" show up in the AM. I have 15-20 lbs to go.
-
We have two big ice chests full of our favorite high protein meals, fruits and veggies (to grill) so we never have to go without.

This works!

I walk twice a day for 40 minutes, lift H.I.T. twice a week and stay 200-400 under what MFP recommends for my Daily total by NEVER eating my exercise calories. 32 lbs since 12/31/12, 16 lbs to go.

When I stalled at 20 lbs off, I started beating myself up for eating a few squares of Sugar Free Dark Chocolate with Almonds after dinner or no sugar cocoa powder in my AM Cappuccino. WTF? Too OCD! Still at it two months later and down 32 lbs. One more stress GONE.

I have been lifting for 47 years. I never found it necessary to get an attitude on anyone I taught how to lift weights. Find a PT with better communication skills. To quote a trainer I had on an 8 Man Crew team, "If I wanted to get yelled at again, I would call my parents for free."

73 lbs? Wow. You must be VERY proud. Stay the course. You look great, but think of how much our hearts and joints appreciated these goals. Thank you for sharing this news.

Its a 2008. It just acts like a 2 year old.

Cute, good photographer and poser (Rule of 3rds).

NBR, then NPR is on the TV in the aerobics side of the gym, but I can hear it on the Iron Side. If I lift in the AM, it's Smooth Jazz.

Frozen Mixed Berries, One scoop whey powder, one cup Silk Almond milk & one tablespoon crunchy almond butter. This is is dinner after the gym 2 nights a week. DANG, I want to go home and make one, just by writing it down here (good thing it's Gym Night). LMBO!

My protein addition snacks throughout the day will vary from 1 cup of Egg Beaters w/salsa, a cup of NF cottage cheese, hand made turkey burgers (with spinach, goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes) a protein drink (frozen mixed berries, 32g of whey powder & raw almond butter) or Fage NF plain yogurt (w/blue berries and…

Thanks everyone. Not really "blowing" the diet or "cheating." I asked a 60 year old bodybuilder at my gym (with a garage full of trophies from the 70s and 80s) what his eating was like as he got VERY muscular to peak for a contest. Even no longer competing his vascularity is incredible. His reply was "whether it's me or…

This works. I started loosing as soon as I dropped the processed "white junk."

Saturday AM only.

I have lost 32 lbs since 12/31/12 from 1700 calories a day and 200-1000 calories of aerobics/lifting a day. I've not paid any attention to carbs. The wife now says," look, your getting a six-pack." No one has ever said that to me. At 6' 2" and 210, my kids think I am getting skinny. LMBO! xoxox

Same as every other day. Cappuccino, rice toast with almond butter and fruit speed and a banana, plus 11 supplements.

"[/quote] Millions have been spent on various diet fads but the ONLY way to combat obesity is the general 'moderation, portion control and consistency with cardio and weight training' I LOVE counting calories as it really works for me but I also work out 5-6 times a week and satisfied with the results to date. I am very…

I ate less and exercised more. 140 days later I am 31 lbs less, with 15 to go. I DID give up processed sugar products and wheat, but it was staying under my calories in MFP journaling that got me through what I have been trying to do at the gym for 32 years. I like the look of Paleo, but I also like nuts, non-fat dairy,…

A pound a week is manageable. Hang in there. I to was frustrated on the "no-loss/or gain" Mondays, but it's a life-style change. I'd been 245-262 lbs for decades. So nice to be 16 lbs from my goal. You will also see the light. It's a roller coaster, but the ride is worth the ticket.

MFP made me ignore low carb and just count calories. I do not do any sugar or wheat, but I like fruit, I am loosing and feel better.
-
Huge crush on my scale Saturday morning, but I may despise it on Monday.

What do you do most? I thought my Hybrid would do it all, so I put hard/fast road tires on it. After a few years, I did so little trail riding I bought a carbon road bike. My next bike will be a Mountain bike just for the GREAT trails in Central CA. Bikes are SO good these days, for $1,200 you could get starter mountain…

Great point.
