i started one earlier this month. i'm on day 10 and feeling great! headache and foggy head the first 3 days or so, but now lots of energy and clear thinking.

how wonderful! congratulations.

I have to have creamer in my coffee too. I gave up half and half for coconut creamer: 1 can of full-fat coconut milk, 1 pasteurized egg, 3 tablespoons melted coconut oil, and a dash of vanilla extract. Blend together (I use an immersion blender) and keep in the fridge for up to a week. I've grown to like this much better…

you should be proud of yourself, great job!

I have vitamin D issues too, having to take the prescription dose and now take 5,000 units daily. I kept getting lower than low normal readings, then I read vitamin D has to be taken with fat to be absorbed, so not on an empty stomach. I now take mine with a fish oil supplement and my readings are now in the low normals.…

Great job on day one! I think I'll start again tonight. I got through 8 days a few months ago, but got sick and then didn't start over. I also re-started C25K this morning too.

I think an air horn would be better than a whistle. You'd already have it in your hand and wouldn't have to fumble to get it to your mouth and blow, and it's a heck of a lot loader than a whistle!

Congratulations! I just started week 2 this morning and can't wait until it's enjoyable. ;-)

I use SO coconut dairy creamer. It's fat free and only 10 calories. It comes in French Vanilla too, but I like the original.

It's so hard to give up alcohol when dieting. I'm so used to having a beer or two after work and splurging more on the weekends. I'm also trying to cut out wheat and gluten, so beer is doubly bad. And when I do slip, I'm like you and it's rarely one. It's a 6 pack (or more) and eating anything fried and delicious is the…

You're just beautiful! And I love your red hair. ;-)
-
Well done! And of course I LOVE your hair!

You look great! I've had ulcerative colitis flare ups for over 30 years, which as you probably know also affects your eyes, skin and liver function. I've recently tried cutting out wheat and my guts feel a lot better! I have slips now and then, gluten free beers aren't the best, and when I do, I can really feel it. Good…

JKF was assassinated.

You look great! The suit should fit just right by the end of May at the rate you're going. Good work!
-
both photos are gorgeous, but you look healthier in the "during". great job!
-
Well, hello to you too!
-
Very motivating! I'm on day 4 of 30DS and I hope my results are half as good as yours. How much weight did you lose in the 30 days?
-
day 3 down. i'm using 5 lb weights, what does everyone else use?
-
nice tatts too! i have one on my thigh and it was the most painful of all that i've had, including my feet. how did you stand two with so much ink?
-
I didn't know about vitamin D deficiencies either, my doctor certainly didn't pick up on it. My sister, who's also a nurse, also had really low levels and knew my symptoms and suggested I get tested.
-
you should get your vitamin d level checked. mine runs low and that can cause sluggishness and depression. a normal range is between 30-80, mine has been as low as 10. it won't get up to normal levels with otc vitamin d, you have to get a prescription dose of 50,000 units that you take once a week for 3 months. it took me…

i did my level 1, day 2 when i got home from work. 1/15th of the way to the finish!

you look wonderful, great job!

I started today again today too. I've tried twice before but never made it more than 5 days. Good luck to all of us!
-
good luck! my mom died over 6 years ago and that's when things went bad for me too. my chronic health issues flared up and depression set in. i recently re-started too. we can do it!

you sound like me!! (except the man part). i've been starting and stopping and being good then not, but yesterday i decided to really try. i would like to lose 30 pounds too, but i'd settle for 20. i'm doing south beach, it's not too bad and the results are good. we can do it this time!

when my now 24 year old son was 2, he had a problem with pooping. i joked with his pediatrician that i'd give him a cigarette and a cup of coffee in the morning and that would clear up his problem. he laughed with me. have a smoke and a cup of joe. lol!
