Thanks for the suggestion! I found a few channels that I will try out! I don't usually listen to music when I jog, but I think it might help me move faster!

Good suggestion! I love all of the Leslie Sansone DVDs! My favorite is the 3 Mile Slim and Sleek.

Hope it is not too late to join in! Yesterday, I ran 3.1 miles and walked 2.2. So... 5.3 so far.

I graduated today! Chicago definitely lived up to its nickname this morning. It was so windy that at times I felt like I wasn't even moving, but I kept up my pace and made it through! It felt great to start off the new year running 5K! I hope to keep it up throughout the winter and run my first 5K in March.

I just finished W7D2 and feel great! I really struggled in Week 6 and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to make it to the next level. I repeated the 15 minute max run for 6 days before I moved on, and I felt like every time was a struggle. Then, I just decided to do the 20 minutes, and for some reason I was fine. I think the…

I always feel like I run veeeeerrrrrrryyyyyy slow, but I don't care as long as I keep going and don't walk! I first did Week 6 Day 3 last Saturday. (15 minute run, 3 minute walk, 5 minute run) This was the first time that I've wanted to stop and walk because I felt like it was so hard to breathe! I made it to the end, but…

I think the program that I've been using has a different time schedule. I finished W6D3 today, but the longest run was 15 minutes. I am sure that the cold weather was part of it, but it was my most difficult run. I am going to have to repeat this one a couple times at least before running 20 minutes in W7D1. The jump from…

I felt the same way. I did W4D3 twice (Saturday and Monday) and I did W5D1 today. It was not as bad as I thought, but I think I may also repeat W5D1 tomorrow before I move on to the 8 minutes. I never felt like I wanted to quit, but I was definitely breathing harder during the 6 minute run.

Thank you! I also have the imapmyfitness app, but I haven't been using it since I started C25K. I think I will try that tomorrow! Thanks again! I want to burn as many Thanksgiving calories as possible! : )

I feel the same! I use the iphone app. Once I start, I just listen for the chime and don't watch the clock at all. I didn't even know the three minute run was coming in week 3. That keeps me from telling myself that I can't do it! I feel like if I can make it through this next week, I'll be able to stick with it.

I did W3D3 on Friday and took the weekend off. I was afraid to start week 4 after looking at the minutes, so I did W3D3 again today. It seemed like a big jump in running time from Day 2 to Day 3, so I was surprised that I didn't struggle more. I'm a little nervous about 4 minutes of running, but I'll give it a shot on…
