  • Thin doesn't equal happy. You can be the thinnest, prettiest girl in the room-and be completely miserable on the inside. Don't loose sight of what matters most-and that is the inside of us. Not the outside.
  • Meeting people when you are older is hard-I can attest to that! I moved to a new state as an adult-and wow-everyone else already had their friends-add to that a divorce some years later-and alone. You can do this-and you will do this. I recommend getting an activity that is just for you though; something outside of the…
  • I can't wait to start this. I have an agreement with three other people that we all start doing it on January 1st.. I am going to try to do this every day for the 30 days. I need to build up some good exercise strength! I still can't do a lot-so this is my way of pushing myself. Can't wait to start!
  • :drinker: Coffee with cream. Sorry-I will allow for this every day-otherwise, I wouldn't be able to function!
  • The Zumba is not expensive. It was only 39 when I got mine for Christmas-so just go get it-totally worth that money!!!
  • I love the Wii Fit Plus and Zumba. Those are my "go to's". However, I do have the Biggest Loser (first edition) and liked that also. It just wasn't "fun" for me-so I don't do it that much. Wii Fit and Zumba keep me engaged....sadly-I need that!
  • I prefer working out at home. I can workout whenever I want that way-and no one will be there to watch me. Also, when I did belong to a gym-I always had an excuse not to go. This way...it is in my living room-so there is no excuse.
  • I do that-and it's from dry skin. Aveeno works great for me.....when I remember to use it.
  • Good job! This has been a "day by day" journey for me-I have to start each day like it is the first day-and remember all I have accomplished to this point! It was hard-but finally gave up Soda and going to Starbucks:( ; I mean-good for me-but those were yummy! However, i am like you-I couldn't have them in moderation-I was…
  • I just got it for Christmas, and have only done it twice-but I love it. I don't have the Just Dance 2 (or 1), so I can't compare to that one. I just know that it is going to give me a workout, and that is why I wanted it.
  • This is a good idea:) 1. STOP SPENDING MONEY! Seriously...it doesn't grow on trees, even though I sometimes seem to think it does! 2. Make sure my husband continually knows I think that he is the best thing in the world. 3. Scrapbook more, watch TV less.
  • I got it for the Wii for Christmas, and LOVE IT! I have only played it twice, but-I am in love. I haven't seen the Kinect, but have heard good things, so I would think that it would be even better on it. It has tutorials-which I totally need, but I have also been able to stumble along with the routines also:)
  • I have been doing the "box 1/2 my food up before i get it" thing-and that seems to be working for me.
  • Silly little question-should we send our stats to you on Dec 28th, or on Jan 1st to get started? I would prefer to not send them now-as I want as accurate as a read out as possible on my weight loss.
  • That is in fact-mostly how I get my exercise. I love the Wii-and hope to get Zumba soon. I currently have Wii Fit and Biggest Loser-and they are both really great. I have Gold's Gym Boxing-but don't like the music on it-so I can't use it. Plays only one song....
  • I personally am not willing to do anything that I am not going to stick with. I say if your journey has stalled, to mix up your workout or drink more water, etc. Try new things the healthy way. Not sure how I feel about taking pills for a quick fix, even just to get restarted.
  • My journey has been about new habits. I say work on one thing a week until you get the hang of it. When you throw too much at yourself at once, that might not work. I did the first week as-no snacky candy!! (I used to eat a candy bar a day). The second week I added to that, no soda. Then I just kept/keep adding on!
  • I would like to join this also. I really need to get this weight off, and this sounds very attainable.
  • I honestly don't have time to eat before I workout. If I want to fit it in-I do it right before I take my shower to get ready for the day. Also, I can't eat when first waking up-and that is when I workout. Just my two cents.
  • I always get either the minestrone soup, or the marinara linquine, and the salad without the dressing.
  • I do find if I start the day good-I am good throughout. The days I wake up and work out are my best food days by far.
  • I get asked this a lot-and I hate it. It is so embarrassing! I know I am overweight-I get it. Don't keep rubbing it in. Seriously-I don't look even 9 months pregnant though, so I don't know why you would think it is ok to ask. I haven't ever asked anyone if they were-just because I wouldn't want to upset them if they…
  • Silly little additional question...how do you know you are taking the same measurements each time? That you are pulling it the same "tightness" around you each time?
  • Good luck! I have been here about five weeks-and love it. I have only lost 6 pounds-but am proud of that fact! I went from being someone who NEVER did any exercise (in fact-if you would have told me a building was on fire, rather than run-I might have considered it just my time to go! LOL). Seriously, never exercised-to…
  • Congratulations!!!!
  • My goal is 1 pound a week-and I am basically doing that. I have lost 6 pounds in five weeks. I need something smaller and more attainable to me, or I will get discouraged and give up.
  • It is funny that now cheating is totally different! No more will I go eat out for three meals, have two starbucks and a candy bar in a day, haha! Now I "cheat" so differently! Way to go!!!!
  • I try to get in a walk at lunch. However-I am lucky-I work downtown and have a skyway system-meaning that I can't use the weather as an excuse:)
