I had a dermoid ovarian cyst removed surgically last winter. Before it was removed, I had a laundry list of things I wasn't supposed to do: run, ride horses, roller coasters, rough sex, get in any car accidents (lol- not that I really wanted that to happen anyway) and really anything that was too bouncy. I don't have any…

If you literally ate no carbs, then all you could eat is protein and fat. That means no fruits or vegetables. Does that sound like a healthy plan to you?

Just did my 30! A-ok so far. =)

PSU represent! I'm a Penn State alum- got my first BS there (at UP though, not Erie). Currently I'm a physician assistant student at Pennsylvania College of Technology.

I'm in my first semester of PA (physician assistant) school. It is by far the craziest academic endeavor I've ever attempted, but I'm keeping my head above water (and even losing a little weight in the process) so far. Everyone told me that learning medicine would be like trying to drink from a hire hydrant, and they were…

Absolutely stunning! What an amazing inspiration- the idea of feeling pretty in comfy around-the-house clothes and no makeup is pretty much my big end goal, so this was wonderful to see.

BS in labor and industrial relations Currently working on a BS in physician assistant (which will be followed with a master's in health science). Nothing better than being a career changer!

This looks amazing!

Congratulations! That's such a great feeling- can't wait til I can say the same! =)

September 15 SW: 184.0 December 15 GW: 170.0 Height: 5'3" Honestly though, ANY loss this semester will be a huge victory for me. This is by far the most challenging academic period of my life to date. I'm just thrilled that I've managed to lose about 3 pounds during the first four weeks of school!

I LOVE this idea! I might have to present this as an option to my friends this year. Even if they say no, I'm now inspired to watch the movie again- one of my old faves!

I'm up 0.2 pounds this week, which is actually not nearly as bad as expected. Thinking that this sets me up for a nice loss next week. =)

0.8 pounds down this week, 4.4 since starting MFP in August, 10.8 down since my highest-ever weight in May. Happy to finally be going in the right direction, even if it's slow!

This is perfect! December 15th is the first day of Christmas break for me (finals end on the 14th), so I'm already counting down to that day anyway! I'd love to look better in Christmas/family pics this year than I did last year. =)

I lost 2.8 pounds this week!! For me and the rate I've been losing so far, this is an exceptionally huge loss! I'm thrilled!!

Same here. I learned quickly that sushi with soy sauce will cause a drastic spike the next day! The only day that "counts" and gets logged into MFP for me is Friday mornings. For me, seeing the daily fluctuations has actually made me less concerned about small day to day changes- it's the bigger trends that count, not the…

Part of the reason I'm here is because I would absolutely love to (and really should) lose some weight. But the real reason I'm here at this exact point in time is that I just started PA school (PA= physician assistant). It is the most intense, insane, and difficult thing I've ever experienced. I can't even begin to say…

I LOVE things like this! I wonder what it is that's so satisfying about filling out a survey? My results (in order of highest to lowest): Linguistic Logical - Interpersonal (tie) Music Intrapersonal Naturalistic Kinaesthetic Visual/Spacial None of that was a huge surprise, although it's a bit disconcerting to see that I'm…
