Hey, what do you think, is it already time to make an "oh noes, it's time to cut!" thread?

Week 21: week of 17 February 2014 Average intake: unknown, haven't been counting calories this past week. Weight per 22 February : 61.6 kg, + 1.7 kg when compared with last week, but it's TOM so most likely skewed with water weight. + 7.6 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.36 kg per week. And this concludes this bulk!…

Looking good! I wonder about those curls as well though.... I expect to join you in this thread again some time in the future: come Monday my bulk is done and I will be starting some more cycle's of the SBR

I'm Dutch.

Not quite.... As far as I understand it. When in a surplus for most people the Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis or NEAT increases, causing a slightly higher over all calorie burn. This is what makes upping calories during a bulk usually necessary after a while. When cutting again the NEAT after a while decreases and…

Or coating it in molten cheese with crisped bacon on top... Mmmmm, bacon!

Whatever the kind of mustard you like! I usually have the very spicy Zaanse Mosterd, but Dijon or tarragon mustard are also very good.
-
With pork I love mustard, so I would personally just marinate the medallions in mustard before baking. If you really want a sauce you could make a light roux and flavour it with mustard.

I'm feeling fat! Yesterday I had another moment of " Oh,the horror!". Found that my bra straps were showing in my back  Really can't wait to get all the fluff of again.

Week 20: week of 10 February 2014 Average intake: 2460 kcal per day. Weight per 15 February : 59.9 kg, + 0.5 kg when compared with last week. + 5.9 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.3 kg per week. On the home stretch: just this one week of bulking left!

I'm currently doing an upper/lower split twice per week, so 4 lifting days total.

I knit or spin wool when watching television.

I'm doing what Bret Contreras calls the classic BOR with the back held (almost) parallel to the floor.
-
Good to hear it was a good first experience! Regarding the starting weights: I don't know the Strong Curves program, but most programs start with a "test day" to determine the starting weights on the various excercises. Reading stuff from Bret Contreras, I'm pretty sure this is covered somewhere in the program…

Week 19: week of 3 February 2014 Average intake: 2310 kcal per day. Weight per 8 February : 59.4, + 0.7 kg when compared with 2 weeks ago. + 5.4 kg from start of bulk, average of + 0.28 kg per week. I'm feeling fat. My clothes don't fit right anymore, I don't have anything to wear to clients, my waist has dissappeared into…

Big agree with all of the above!
-
Totally this. I made pictures from before my bulk and at the midway point at about 3 months and despite a 4.3 kg difference, it is hard to tell the difference between the two pictures.

With chicken, onions, peppers, raisins and spiced with cinnamon.

Mine wants a massage by yours truly

Thank you!

For a lean bulk for women it is usally advised to have an average daily intake of about 300 kcal above maintenance. I don't know how much kcals your cheat meals usually are, but they do have to be taken into account to avoid over- or under shooting your calorie target. Personally I calculate my intake on weekly basis.…

Have some cookies!
-
You can do it! It's 8 more weeks for me

I agree with this ^^^^ It's very much the same as with dieting down, the weight doesn't come if at a nice even rate, nor will it get on like that. Sucks being injured though.

Week 18: week of 27 January 2014 Average intake: 2364 kcal per day. Current weight unknown, haven't measured because of TOM. Still going strong although I do start to feel fluffy. I'm now slowly shifting from my size 36 to size 38 clothing. That's European sizing  I really enjoy eating this much though, so I'm…

Oh wow, that is some intake! :drinker: How did you determine your maintenance before? The main thing that comes to mind with me, is that your NEAT is increasing at about the same rate your intake is... Could that be possible?
