I'd say try to quit cold turkey... Throw out all the gum. And if you're at the store with 5 packets of gum, put them back. If you don't manage to put them back, throw them out when you get home or on the way home. Try doing something else whenever you feel like having gum, have a glass of water, eat some cucumber slices…

Riight... So in a few decades we'll start to run out of insects like we're apparently running out of cows, fish and vegetables... What're we gonna eat then? Or are they thinking that eating bugs is so gross that everyone will eat way less?

The fact is that you ARE skinny. In fact, looking at your profile pic you're TOO skinny. Admittedly it's at a weird angle and there's only one pic, so you might look healthier in in reality, but you're still really skinny. You are definitely not fat. If anyone tells you you're fat they're being a troll, sarcastic or both.…

Why bulk up at 120 kilos? Why not now or 20 lbs ago? You've probably lost a lot of muscles already. I really think you need to speak to a doctor about this.

I'd suggest trying to snack on nuts throughout the day to up your calories a bit. And try to get into the habit of always eating lunch at the same time, say 12, so you'll eat something every day even though you never feel hungry. Also make sure to eat fullfat products. Avocado is good to up your calories. Basically try to…

It's a mix between A (for the taste) and D (convenience). There's this one lasagna that is the best lasagna I have ever tasted... I don't even know how to make lasagna on my own and I'm way to lazy to learn, besides that meal is only like 450 calories. Then there's this awesome thai food that tastes just like what my…

Leftover salad... Whenever I make salad I make loads of it and end up eating it for breakfast and lunch until it's all gone... Who says you need to have breakfast foods for breakfast anyway?
-
I watch mine... But then I keep it in for like 5 minutes total on max power, so if I don't watch it and stir whenever it starts overflowing there won't be any oatmeal left in the bowl.

Like others have said, stop pandering to him. Just make meals where the meat is separate or in big enough pieces to remove and have a side of vegetables, if he wants something else he can make it himself. He's not a child.

Under 100 calories.... Vegetables. Yeah I know they're not a typical breakfast food, but you can get a lot of broccoli for 100 calories. Actually here's a 121 calorie broccoli omelette, leave out the cheese and it's 96 calories: 1 medium egg 1 cup of chopped broccoli 1/2 Laughing Cow - Mini Babybel Light

If you check the news feed in My Home you should see a few messages like "chuckek has logged in for 100 days in a row!" I've logged 890 days now. I haven't missed a single day since I started as far as I can remember.

Use smaller plates. Replace potatoes/rice/pasta with vegetables sometimes (or all the time). Season well enough that you won't need a sauce. (Well seasoned and cooked salmon is awesome with just boiled peas) If you fail one day, get a fresh start the next. Cook enough to freeze and reheat for whenever you don't feel like…

If you can manage fine without breakfast and still get enough calories every day I don't see why you should force yourself to eat it. Especially if you literally get sick from it. A lot of people skip breakfast and loose/gain/keep weight just fine. Then most important thing is what and how much you eat, not when. If you…

My favorite salad has lots of tomatoes, lots of cucumber, grilled chicken cut into tiiiny pieces, peas, cheese (1 or 2 babybell) and sometimes baby spinach or lettuce. Sometimes I put in steamed and cooled broccoli too. Sometimes onions too if I'm using the make-your-own-salad-bar nearby. It dosen't really NEED dressing,…

Removing carbs is just an easy way of making most meals have less calories. Take I dunno, a basic meal of steak, potatoes, a sauce and broccoli. Replace one of the first three with more broccoli and maybe 1/4-1/3 of the calories are gone. Protein helps keep most people full for longer and fat makes everything more yummy.…

I guess you could say I've given up potatoes... But that's just cause my mom does low carb now and never makes them. And peeling and cooking potatoes myself is annoying and too much work.

I'm pretty sure she's talking about british flapjacks... Aka these: http://britishfood.about.com/od/eorecipes/r/flapjack.htm And the recipe in the link is the one I've used btw, you could probably make it with way less calories if you use margaraine(or whatever low fat butter substitute you prefer) and honey.

Don't apples generally have the same nutritional value? My favorite apples are Pink Lady, hands down. After that comes Jazz, Fuji, the ones from the tree in our garden (I have no idea what kind they are) and Golden Delicious, in that order. All other apples I've tried lie somewhere beneath these on my big metaphorical list…

Baked apples are awesome for dessert. Or other fruit I guess... As for the meal... As long as you don't cook anything breaded or with grains or flour in it you should be fine... I think.

Me too! Maybe you could use a different entry? One that has a tablespoon measurement... If there is one.

For the people who think you have to eat "a lot" to become really fat... Do you realize how easy it is to go over 1200 on chocolate? One package of my favorite brand of milk chocolate is 1100 calories and I could eat that pretty easily while watching a movie or just by grabbing a piece or two whenever I felt a craving.…

On cheat days, as long as I don't go above maintenance I can eat whatever I want. Cause y'know, I don't want to GAIN weight, it dosen't really matter all that much if weight loss is slowed down, but I definitly don't want to start going backwards not even for one day. And this way I can have more cheat days. :D

In our food cupboard, (we also have the baking cupboard) there's canned fish (tuna and mackerell), canned vegetables (tomatoes, beans, corn and pickles), oil (rapeseed and coconut), rice, pasta, some salsa and pureed tomato and various jams. And for some reason there are two jars of honey... One of which should really be…

I made my own bread once... Then my mom put it in a plastic bag "so it wouldn't become dry" and it was mouldy the next day. Which was a shame, it was pretty tasty bread.

If he thinks the food is bland, add more spices... Unless he hates spicy food I guess... Keep some spices on the table while you eat so he can add more himself if he thinks it's too bland... The basic salt (herbal salt is awesome) and pepper and maybe some cayenne or curry.

Congratulations! :) I'm glad I never got big enough to loose mine... Of course that might be because all the fat ended up on my thighs and *kitten*. One stupid thigh is bigger than my waist. >:(

Really easy dinner recipe: Boil vegetables you like. (I like peas and/or broccoli) Fry meat in frying pan with spices you like. (Herbal salt and cayenne... Mmmm...) Make a sauce in the frying pan. (My fav easy sauce recipe: Just pour in cream and stir well until it's done, add salt if you need to) Serve and eat.

Anything I bake myself.... Sometimes I just get this big urge to bake and then I eat everything over the next several days/week. Right now I'm working on making a delicious almond-hazelnut-chocolate cake disappear. Only half a cake left. Unfourtunatly I'm the only one in the family who eats sugar and I don't really know…
