  • Eee! Thanks everyone! I'll do that right now. And then I can sleep. :)
  • 2-3 egg omelette with ham and/or turkey and cheese. Just crack some eggs in a bowl or glass, whisk them a bit with a fork, add cream, salt or onion powder if you feel like it. Put in a hot pan with plenty of butter, add cheese and meat. Takes like 10 minutes. Longer or shorter depending on the size of the frying pan, the…
  • There's no such thing as too many meals a day imo, that just means there's some ready meals for the week. Well... Unless you have a big party and everyone hates the food... Then most of it would go to waste.
  • I'm not a diabetic myself, but I've read a lot about how some diabetics feel better, and some don't have to take as much medication , with a low carb, high fat diet. Basically it's it's no sugar, fruit, root vegetables or grains. Everything else is fine. But like, it's only something I've read, I have no personal…
  • Half a pizza... I'm gonna eat the rest of it for dinner... 614kcal... I'm really having an unhealthy day... Cake for breakfast, pizza for lunch and dinner... But at least I'm not over maintenance! ...Yet.
  • I never really eat the same thing for breakfast... Sometimes I don't eat it at all... Today I ate a mini kladdkaka (not actually like chocolate mud cake, wikipedia is a liar) for 150kcal, recipe here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1061818-my-lunch-today-chocolate-mud-cake-kladdkaka?page=1 But here are some of my…
  • From my experience google translate is pretty good at translating words... It's when you want to translate sentences that it goes wonky.
  • I'm not really sure how to post pics here... And I haven't taken any yet... But if you google "Kladdkaka" you get a ton of pics, it's just like those, in a muffin cup.
  • Well, something Really simple and low cal that I ate today is salmon fillet with peas... That's it... 100ish gram salmon fillet 200ish gram peas 5 gram butter Season the salmon with whatever you want(I like herbal salt, this one curry thai spice you can get in basically any swedish supermarket and cayenne), boil the peas…
  • Soup? Just put it in a thermos... Regular food? If you have access to a microwave... My mom has always made extra while making dinner to bring to work the next day.
  • Who would drink regular water when Diet Water has 0 calories!? :P But the label looks like kanji, so it's probably just one of those names with a random english word... Like Pocari Sweat.
  • If I'm at someone elses place I guesstimate... Like I know a chicken breast with peas and cream sauce is usually around 5-600 calories, if I put it on the plate myself, so I'll put in 5-650 calories. If I'm at a restaraunt, I check if they have a website with info, if they don't I check the MFP database and pick something…
  • 1. Peas (frozen) 2. Broccoli (frozen) 3. Carrots (fresh) 4. Tomatoes (fresh) 5. Apples (1 kilo bag) 6. Cream (0.5 liters) 7. Chicken (whole or pack of breasts) 8. Beef (1 package) 9. Eggs (carton of 12) 10. Ice cream (1.5 liter package) Hmm.... Yeah I'm pretty sure I got all the important things. AND it'd last me more than…
  • There's an MFP android app that I use when I'm away from home... But then I don't usually vacation outside the country and Sweden(and my phone) has awesome internet almost everywhere.
  • MsLilly200 has logged in for 960 days in a row! I don't think I've missed a day since I joined... I logg everything every day... Even the days I'm over by 1000 calories... Cause then I really admit to myself that I did bad and can do better the next day.
  • Soups, smoothies and purees? That's pretty much common sense right? I dunno, it's been ages since I last had a tooth pulled out and I don't remember what I ate.
  • You should probably talk to a dietician... But here's my non-professional advise. Eat more calories. (And/or move less but that is probably not healthy!) I don't know how much you burn each day, but if you're not gaining or loosing then what you're eating now is roughly what you burn (Hi I'm Captain Obvious). So slowly…
  • You might be able to keep soup hot in a thermos... The only other thing I can think of is salads and sandwiches... Sorry for not being all that helpfull...
  • You might be retaining water... I hear some people who are sensitive to gluten can have that happen... Can also happen from eating alot of salt I think. Or if the weight is staying on you might be underestimating your calories and eating more than you should.
  • Maybe try having a really low calorie salad ready in the fridge for yourself? Maybe you'll snack on that if you know that "this is for when I eat in the middle of the night". It couldn't hurt to try. If it doesn't work you can always have it for breakfast instead. Edit: Oh wait OVERCOME it! Yeah I have no idea... I thinks…
  • There's hot dogs and apple pie here in sweden... And when I think of American food I think like McDonalds... And stereotypical thanksgiving food... Roast turkey, cranberry jelly, pumpkin pie... We don't really have it... Cause we don't celebrate thanksgiving (at least no one I know does). Also to those people talking about…
  • Cherry tomatoes... In a bowl... Low cal, low sodium, low salt... Still delicious. Or carrot sticks, cucumber sticks... Add tomatoes, lettuce and protein of your choice and make a salad... Or grapes, apple slices, pear slices, an orange, a banana.... Maybe mix em together and make a fruit salad... Small portions of leftover…
  • Oops! Double post...
  • My suggestion, try everything you have never tried or haven't tried in a while 2 or 3 times raw and cooked in different ways and see if you might like some vegetables after all. Try boiling, grilling, frying, pickling, pureeing, any way of cooking a vegetable you can think of. If you like mashed potatoes you might like…
  • Then try peeling them to see if it's the pesticide you're reacting too. Or try organic if you're already peeling. If you're still reacting you might have developed an allergy since fall and your choices are meds or quitting. Or checking with your doctor if any meds you're on could be making it happen.
  • Most vegetables grown above ground are pretty low carb, so it's probably possible... You'd just have to research A LOT to make sure you get all the nutrients you need and stay away from the carbiest (not a real word... -_-;;) things. Are vegetarians the one who can't have eggs? I can never remember. Eggs are good for…
  • I would consider something between 20 and 70 co be low carb... 20 being reeeaally strict. My mom does 20 and she basically can't have any grains, root vegetables, fruit or sugar at all. But she can eat lots of most vegetables. Mfp obviously considers 120 to be low carb though if it wants you to eat 193... I'm sure other…
  • I really like Garant brand ice cream, the vanilla and the strawberry are delicious and only 190 calories for 100 grams. The crushed chocolate is 230 calories I think, but I didn't like it as much as the others so I don't really remember. I don't think that brand exists outside Sweden though. At least not for ice cream.
  • I've never felt guilt for eating something... I've been overweight basically since I realized I could buy candy for myself with my allowance... I've never been anywhere close to morbidly obese or anything though... So that might have something to do with it... I do feel regret though... Like last month I ate 600 calories…

  • Yes. Go to My Home - Goals - Change Goals - Custom and you'll see how much MFP thinks you should eat to maintain, and be able to change calories and your carb/protein/fat ratios. And lots of other things but I wouldn't really recommend touching that unless you know what you're doing...
