@marieegg - There is a support group on MFP called Weight Watchers International. I'm not sure if it is still active though. Do you know anything about that?
-
Is this still an active group? If so, I would be interested in joining since I just restarted with WW and have been using MFP since January 2016. I really need to lose this weight and implement a healthier lifestyle!
-
@marieegg - I'm been actively tracking on MFP since March 2016. My weight has bounced back and forth without significant loss. I joined weightwatchers via website today and will begin attending the meetings on Saturday this week. I will not get my access code for online until the meeting. But, I would love to receive any…

@ShrinkinMel - what is PCSO?
-
@rokos2 - how did you calculate the range of calories you consume with goal of weight loss?
-
Please feel free to add me. CW: 186.8 GW: 135 @AmyLouPelt - I definitely hear you! I'm not fond of cooking either, especially since it is only me and my husband. It's very hard to scale down my cooking when I've always had a large family of good eaters to cook for in the past. Support and possibly sharing ideas for meal…

What is the AIP diet?
-
@Cheesy567 - thank you. I will use this calculator and follow the good advice you gave me.
-
@Cheesey567 - I am interested in the BMR link if you can find it. Thank you!
-
@yeyates - I'm going to look for that book. Thank you!
-
I would be interested also to know about the AIP.

I have joined this group today after reading your posts. I was referred to a rheumatologist about 6 months ago with joint pain in knees, toes, hands and hips. I also was diagnosed with dry eyes. So far all the specific tests for RA, Sjogren's, etc have been negative except I definitely have an increasing autoimmune value.…

@nowine4me - for me, it has been extremely difficult to lose weight with menopause. And, much easier to gain weight! I have had to increase my calcium intake and make sure that I am getting enough weight-bearing activity too.
-
@ SugarDarlin1959 - sounds like you have made a great plan and have acted on it! Good for you!! My eating is also a work in progress, but definitely keeping at it is much better than giving up!
-
@nxd10 - Congrats! Did you follow the calorie and nutrient recommendations by MFP or calculate your own percentages?
-
@godlikepoetyes - 89# - WOW! Great job!!
-
@luluinca - I agree with @NewMEEE2016 - your biceps are amazing and inspirational!!
-
@SugarDarlin1959 - your journey sounds very similar to mine. My weight has bounced around over the years too. I have been regularly attending Jazzercise and strength training with weights since January of this year and absolutely love it! Because if some issues with RA and osteopenia, I am trying to increase my bone…

What is high impact interval training?

I'm so happy I found this thread again! I forgot to mark it. Still working out at least 5 times per week. Attempting to drink more water and stay under 1220 calories each day. Seems to be very difficult for me even though I have tried to add more protein to help fuel my activity. The scale just doesn't seem to move so I…

@Briarhopper2 - Sounds like you have a good understanding of diabetes. It can for sure be tricky and stubborn! 5# is awesome - but definitely you need to make sure it is a healthy loss. I am working on building more lean body mass and doing weight bearing exercises to help with my arthritis and osteoporosis. Weight loss…

How is everybody doing? It's been really quiet lately.
-
@BeverlyandDavid1984 - your story sounds so very similar to mine! However, I would like to lose about 50#. I have had the MFP app for a couple of years but just began really using it to track calories (food, exercise and water) since March 2016. I haven't really lost any weight yet do to speak; but I have dropped 3" in my…

Hi! I turned 61 this past March. I have been trying to stay at or below 1200 calories a day on MFP. I exercise at least 5 times a week and track all my food. Still finding it very difficult to lose weight. I would love to join your group. Also would love to have friends that I can offer encouragement and support as well as…

I really like this string. The information shared is invaluable. I knew in my heart that the way to lose weight is to eat less but for some reason (over the years), I had convinced myself that exercise was the key to weight loss! I am still exercising faithfully, but am looking at what types of food I eat, the portion size…
