I have seen this a few times. Only when I go under 1000 calories. Doesn't matter if I exercise or not.

My husband and son found this gem on YouTube the other day and I can't get it out of my head now. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct6BUPvE2sM

I've been on MFP off and on for a couple of years. I had great success using this site in the beginning (lost about 30 pounds). I then had my son and have been exercising/eating healthy off and on for the past two years. I have about 50lbs to lose this time around, and I would love friends on here to give/get support and…

Hello! Wishing you the best of luck. I'm in the same boat. I'm 5'1" and went from 130 before I got pregnant to 178 right before my son was born back in October 2013. I've struggled this past year to get back on the eating healthy and exercising regime. I've just recently started getting serious about it. I love food too,…

These recipes look good! I can't wait to try them! Thank you for posting this! :)

I've been on MFP for a while and I didn't know about skinnytaste. Thank you very much for the post! Also thanks for the cooking light & ohsheglows sites as well! It's nice to have a few places to get healthy recipes from!

Hello! I'm 32 years old and a first time mom to a 3 month old. I gained 60lbs over this pregnancy that I want to lose. I am just getting ready to start working out and would love the support too! Feel free to add me as well!

You'll never regret your baby, even if you regret the food choices you made. :-) good luck and have fun "practicing" until you're ready! [/quote] I agree! That is a very true statement!

I was a healthy weight before getting pregnant, and my doctor told me about 30lbs gained would be healthy for me. I ended up gaining 59lbs, but I ate junk (high calories) and I didn't exercise (doctor has the old school belief of not getting your heart rate over 140 bpm while pregnant). I never felt so hungry in my life,…

Round ligament pain is the first thing that came to my mind as well. I got it a lot during my first trimester. I'm now at 25 weeks and the only time usually feel it is while I'm exercising. If I wear a belly band while exercising, it helps diminish that pain. I usually feel the pain more on my right side as well, but I…

I am 24 weeks pregnant with our first child. I had morning sickness every day from week 6 to week 14, but the morning sickness went away as soon as I entered my second trimester. My breasts became really sore in my first trimester and are still sore (they just aren't as tender now as they were in the beginning). Now I'm…

I like to workout when I have my period too. It definitely helps with cramping. I use pads though. I used to only use tampons, and I still use them to sleep in. But I prefer pads; for me, they are more comfortable. I just get the extra long ones, and I don't have to worry about bunching. I can lift weights and run in them.…

Congratulations! That was one of the reasons I lost weight and it definitely worked! About a year after I started losing weight, I got pregnant too! :)

All of my old pants stopped fitting, so I broke down recently and bought some maternity pants. I was able to get 3 pairs of maternity pants and one pair of maternity shorts for $10 total at the goodwill. I also got a couple of cheap jersey dresses at walmart that I love. I"m not a big dress person either, but the darn…

I saw that, and I have seen on MFP and other sites that doctors all over are ok with women going above the 140 heart rate. That is why I'm so frustrated, and considering another doctor for my next child. Unfortunately I did not know any of this before I started seeing this doctor. :( This is my first child, and I did not…

I ran and lifted weights before I got pregnant. I am having a normal low risk pregnancy with no complications. My doctor also told me not to get my heart rate above 140 and to not lift dumbbells above 8lbs. I was and am frustrated as hell, but this is my first and I don't want to hurt the pregnancy. I stopped running in…

I'm 5'1" and was 130-135lbs pre-pregnancy (I always seem to fluctuate 5lb within a week...sometimes a day). I was still trying to lose about 10lbs when I found out I was pregnant, but my doctor told me I was in the healthy BMI range. I went up and down between 135 and 130 for all of my first trimester. I stopped working…

Hello all! Congratulations on your pregnancies! I am 32 and currently 16 weeks pregnant with our first baby. My due date is October 7th. I am scheduled for an ultrasound the end of May and can't wait to find out if it is a boy or girl. Hopefully that will make picking a name a little easier!

I can understand that. It is better to be safe!

I couldn't agree more! I had a look of shock when she told me to stop using the weight bench and use 8lb. dumbbells for presses instead. 8lbs. doesn't seem worth lifting at all to me. We do plan on having more kids...I don't know how that's suppose to work. I guess she is just the super cautious type.

I miss running! I stopped around the time I found out I was pregnant. The morning sickness left me not wanting to do much of anything for most of the first trimester! I haven't started running again, because my doctor told me not to get my heart rate over 140. I'm at 16 weeks now, and so far I've had a healthy pregnancy.…

Hello! I am 15 weeks pregnant with my first child. I would love to meet and talk to others who are pregnant.

The last birth control I used was the Nuva Ring. I tried Loestrin before that. I hated them both. I never gained weight on birth control, but I did become more emotional. I would start crying so easily. I also stopped remembering my dreams about 6 months into taking birth control (and I felt like I wasn't getting enough…

Here's a way to check for dehydration (works for cats and dogs): Pull the skin up on the nape of her neck (just as a mother would to pick up her kittens). You don't have to pull hard, just enough to lift the skin away from the body. Now let go of the skin. If the skin goes back to its original position pretty easily and…
