I was once told an apple will give you just as much energy as a cup of coffee...you could replace an apple in the morning for your coffee. More calories (if you are just drinking black coffee, anyway) but might help you out on those days you are really needing coffee.

You aren't liking the doctors bedside manner, find a new doctor.

Ugh. I hate to spend even 1.57. I'm too poor and cheap. But maybe I will try the 2 week trial and see how I like it, then decide. I know it shouldn't be a big deal to spend that.

Is it a free app? I'm going to look into it. Thanks :)

Congrats! What app did you use? There are SO many out there.

Sounds interesting.

My birthday was last friday. And yes, I ate what I wanted that day. Happy Birthday. Enjoy your day :)

heh! I was just messing with you. I would call it a lasagna, too.

I was a vegetarian for the last four years and I didn't eat morning star ANYTHING (thats not entirely true, once in a blue moon I'd have their sausage patties. They taste better to me, and don't give me heart burn). Morning Star is gross. And so processed, plus soy is really not good for you. I never liked the idea of a…

Sounds good! (how can it be lasagna without noodles though? lasagna by definition is pasta in a form of broad often ruffled ribbons, it is a type of pasta lol)

yes. It works. well, until you stop looking for crickets and eating them. I lost 60 pounds in a month with this diet. But then I started eating normally and I regained it all, and then some. I am going to start it again tomorrow though. It should work the second time with no adverse side effects.

It won't hurt your weight loss...but I wonder if this is a sudden change in you if you should consider eating more calories? Or more dense calories. Maybe it is your body of saying it isn't getting enough. I don't know, just a thought.

Seriously not cool. Don't judge others and don't assume things you don't know about others.

I believe walking IS exercise. I've lost 35 pounds by walking. You really can't say walking isn't exercise. I would count some of it. Not the 800+ calories, but probably 200 calories. I like the idea of doing 2mph, but I probably wouldn't do half the time but more so 1/3 of the time.

yup!

lol!

What is funny to me about this thread is that...people who were offended by what was said by the OP returned it with insults about the northern states and yankees. I am from CT. I just moved to WA. EVERY SINGLE PERSON that I have met here has always commented, and more than once too, how polite I am. That I am always…

Well, two things.... If the food switch was recently, it could just be that the food isn't sitting with the pup. Since your husband comes home soon (right? is it another week? if it's NEXT weekend, then go ahead and switch the food back), I wouldn't switch the food until he gets back. Just so you don't mess up his pattern…

I've been wanting to try that, it sounds tasty. Nothing can really beat a nice crisp apple for me. I'm kind of boring, and plus, I've been on an apple kick lately. I eat them nonstop for a month or two then not again for a few months, though.

I had breakfast fried rice - eggs, rice, (veggie) breakfast sausage. It was yummy.

I will be 25 in just a few weeks. Yikes. Feel free to add me :)

On... Apples Bananas Oatmeal Celery Crackers Strawberries In a shake (could just melt the pb a little bit and then add it in a blender with milk, then you got pb milk!) Pancakes (or waffles) Pretzels A spoon Yogurt Ice cream Chocolate In chili (its really good, but you dont really taste it. but it just adds something extra…

It is still the same. Good job :)

Any time I go to a fast food place, which isn't too often, I skip out on combo meals. I just get the sandwich I want and a bottle of water. I never miss the fries or the extras you can add on.

ranch dressing....

Yup. Every time. I don't go crazy but I do allow myself an extra 200 or so calories a day during my period. And I also look for things that are high in protein and fat.

Thank you. I do feel proud that I've lost what I have - but I still don't feel or look different to me. I do wish I took pictures when I started. But there was no way 38 pound heavier me was letting that happen. Even now - nope! lol. But if I were to suggest one thing to someone not seeing or feeling a difference - take…

Not to be difficult, but, I disagree with that quote. I am 155 days in, lost 38 pounds so far. I do not see a difference in my body. Others do, though. You are your worst critic. At least I am.

with chips or something crunchy. on a sandwich is really good, too. a grilled cheese with avocado is yum. or on toast. or on eggs. (as long as i have toast too, i need crunch)

Oh and be realistic when adding the burger and buns - you know the bun there was probably 500 calories for the entire thing so don't add a 100 calorie bun. Same with the burger.
