  • False. There are many reasons why a period could stop. And there are many times a period "should" have stopped, but didn't. Every body is different. Menstrual cycle isn't an accurate reading of underweight/healthy weight/overweight.
  • I'm worried I am going to end up eating nothing but veggie stir-fries.
  • Solid advice.
  • Being heavy doesn't equal being out of shape, just like being skinny doesn't equal being in shape. I think the examples of Olympic level power lifters was spot on. It also isn't about what THEY can or can not physically do. If my trainer can't do something, but I potentially can with training/spotting, then I would expect…
  • Personally I would leave out a few things but not everything. Like - go for non-battered fish instead of battered or coated - grilled is the best option - leave out mayo or other creamy dressings, but instead go for fresh squeezed lemon or ask for the creamy dressings on the side to add your own amount - i would get…
  • You are really lumping all vegans and vegetarians into one group. Almost everyone I know that eat a vegan/vegetarian lifestyle (most meat eaters, too) either grow their own food or get it local from farms. Do all? No. But lets not make assumptions on ones ethics JUST based on their choice of foods.
  • I was a vegetarian for almost 7 years and then about 2 years ago I started to eat meat again. I did get stomach pain for the first week of eating meat. I would just start slow if I transitioned again. What I would suggest is just start one meal a week and see how you feel. Also, there is no reason to eat meat just because…
  • I'm guessing he lives in Canada, their Thanksgiving is the 2nd Monday in October.
  • I log in daily, I haven't missed a day in 761 days. But I am not perfect, I fall off the wagon occasionally (right now I'm struggling to stay on it) but I stick to it the best I can. I got injured in the beginning of the summer (broken ankle) and I haven't gotten back into exercise, yet, but I am working on that after I…
  • I feel myself slipping, too. At one point I was at 60 pounds loss. I've gained 30 back. I don't know why I can't get a hold of the spiral, but I am trying. One day at a time, my friend! Feel free to add me and I will do my best to be as supportive as I can be!
  • If you eat at 1400 calories and exercise, that is fine, but you'd want to eat back those exercise calories. If you are scared to go higher than 1400 calories a day, I would highly recommend going to talk to a nutritionist. As much as you might not want to admit it right now, you are close to spiraling to a full on eating…
  • What helped me was adding up what I spent every day on fast food and then figured out what I spent a month, and in a year, on unhealthy foods. It was a shock to me. If that doesn't help, why not look at that amount and think of other things you can spend it on. Maybe even physically putting that money into a jar or account…
  • I would recommend slowly adding more food to your daily goal. Your body isn't used to eating a healthy amount so it WILL freak out but, that will level out. When will it? I don't know, every body is different. But it is good you realize 1200 a day isn't a healthy amount for you to be consuming every day for the rest of…
  • But Cape Cod isn't a city, what town in Cape Cod? I would say...Boston, Sedona, and Seattle.
  • Estimate how much of each thing there was and add each ingredient on its own. how big was the patty? probably 5oz if it was a restaurant. so, add 5oz ground beef (about 350 calories would be my guess). it was on a sesame bun? search sesame bun and add that (i would guess about 250 calories there). what kind of cheese? i…
  • This can easily be done, I spend 150 a month on just myself. Sometimes less. There are months I just stock up on meat if it is on sale, and some months I really stock up on dry goods, then the rest is spent on fresh foods. I see you guys are iced tea drinkers, yum, me too! Do you brew your own tea? You can find tea bags on…
  • 2 weeks without a loss isn't a plateau. Just keep eating right and working out right.
  • Orange Is The New Black Wilfred Weeds Derek 30 Rock I pretty much finished OITNB, Wilfred and Weeds in the last two weeks (from start to finish for all). I broke my ankle, I have a lot of time on my hands!
  • Yep, crazy cat lady here. I have two (one is a siamese mix, named Bailey, the other is a pretty large tabby named Charlie), and I've been told that is a safe number but if I get another I will officially be a crazy cat lady. BUT those two kitties are my love, they really do keep me waking up every day. I am pretty sure…
  • Up to you. I look at my goal at a weekly basis. It works for me.
  • While I don't remember what I was doing or where I was when the verdict was announced, I do remember watching the "car chase" on TV. I was 6. I had no idea what it meant or what was going on, but I do remember sitting in my living room watching that (or playing with toys while pretending I wasn't paying attention to the…
  • I would agree with start simple with pasta. Pasta doesn't have to be just the pasta and a canned jar of sauce. Tonight I had pasta but instead of sauce, I roasted cherry tomatoes in a pan and added a little bit of butter. Once the tomatoes were to my likely (which can vary depending on my mood), I mixed them together with…
  • Look into gwynnie bee or something similar. It is a monthly clothing subscription. Basically, you pay a certain amount each month to "borrow" clothes. Send back a piece of clothing, they send you something new to try. gwynnie bee charges by how many article of clothing you have out at once. They also offer a free trial. I…
  • I've never thought that the people who receive EBT are fat and lazy and just eat junk food. Why would the ones needing help putting food on the table also need education on food nutrition and free gym memberships? I am on EBT. My grocery list consists of fresh fruits and veggies, meat, eggs, dairy and yes, sometimes I buy…
  • No, I'm not on any medication that would cause dry mouth. Just daily vitamins. Added you! I am going on a run tomorrow and I am going to pick up some of the shot blocks at work. I will see if those help. I am also going to drink more water than I normally do during the day. I'm not sure if that is that doable (only because…

  • I do still sweat during my run and my urine is NOT dark. Even after the run, it is the "ideal" color. I eat a lot of fruit and veggies, I am eating more and more as I can. But I do eat a good amount already. I will try chewing gum. And Shot Bloks or Gru - do they help with electrolytes? I will try those, too. I have a hard…

  • 26 female, in a few days I will hit 630 days logging straight. Feel free to add me :) I prefer if your diary was open, though!
  • I'ved used hemp seeds before. Currently I am using chia seeds. I like them both! This morning I had a banana with peanut butter and chia seeds. I like to get them in their natural form, not a protein powder. That way I am not getting any added chemicals or whatever.
