  • One of my close female friends I say I love you to all the time. She says it to me, too. She's married with children, her husband doesn't think anything of it. Heck, I've told him I loved him, too. They are closer than family to me. I have a few other friends that we will often text I love you and occasionally say it in…
  • Friend request sent your way!
  • I could use some more motivating friends! Friend request sent - and others feel free to add me. I've been logging for over 600 days straight!
  • Some great input! Leaving my phone behind isn't an option and I need to drive to where I run (no sidewalks where I live and far too busy/dangerous to run on the road). So I always have my phone and car keys with me. I am going to check out those belt options. In the past I hated the armbands, they were really uncomfortable.
  • Ah! That makes sense. I use my phone for some running apps, eventually I will switch over to something smaller and not use the apps. But it is all in one! _________________ Now what is a spibelt? Off to google! Oh, a lot like the flipbelt but it is smaller. Okay I will compare those two.
  • Yeah, honestly, the idea of having an armband isn't that appealing. If it comes down to it, I will give it a try. Michelefreanch - have you personally used the flipbelt? Does it slide? You like it?
  • No music? BA. I get bored without music, I am jealous.
  • I ended up going to REI and I got a Thule. It's a trunk rack (I don't have a roof rack). The settings that are supposed to fit on my car didn't so I had to adjust it a little. It makes me nervous, thinking it isn't as secure but I used it last night and it seemed to work well. At least better than the one I picked up at…

  • Well, I got the bike rack at Target. It fits over the spoiler but the bike doesn't fit well on the rack. The bike rubs against the bike rack, and I went over a TINY bump (and was going slow because I was so paranoid) and the bike fell off the rack. I tied that on really tight, too. I didn't like the looks of the straps and…

  • Really? Hm. My target has only one in stock and it is about 50 dollars. It says it will fit my car make, but not with a spoiler. Maybe I will just try it out. It would be cheaper than ordering online if I need to return it. 5-6 years is a good length of time for 50 bucks. Have you taken it on the freeway or anything? Or is…

  • Thanks, I will look into that one.

  • I have. Thanks. All the ones I am finding say they don't fit over a spoiler. I have also looked at etrailer.com, same issue. OR they are 200+ dollars. I was hoping to spend half that. I was hopeful maybe someone would have experience with one that fits over their spoiler. It is a factory issued spoiler, so it isn't that…

  • Anyone....

  • Yes, probably. But are you sure you burned the amount you logged? Over estimating amount burned is a common mistake. If you are sure on the calorie burn, pick higher calorie foods on your work out days. Avocado, nuts, cook with olive oil, have some peanut butter. Bananas are a higher calorie fruit, eat one of those with…

  • You want your net calories to be as close to your daily goal as possible. So, if you are aiming to eat 1500 calories a day, your net should be as close to 1500 as possible. 62 isn't a good net at the end of the day, that would be equal to only eating 62 calories all day, even though you probably ate more but burned it off…

  • There are so many options. Do you like fruity? Dry? Personally, mixed drinks can be way too sweet and then result in a bad hangover headache the next day. I would avoid the drinks with a lot of juice. BUT juice is better than a pre-mix. I would probably suggest a strawberry daiquiri, if it isn't a mix (ask them!). Or a…
  • How's your water intake? That would be the first thing I would increase. You can eat all the fiber enriched foods you want but it won't help if you aren't drinking (enough) water to flush it out.
  • Tonight I am having brown rice, mixed veggies and I'm grilling steak.
  • I would try a different scale and see if maybe your's is broken. The pictures you see a CLEAR difference. For what it's worth, my scale hasn't budged in months either. But I am seeing a difference in how my clothes fit. And I am 230 pounds and a size 14, I was a 16/18 at this weight not too long ago. The human body is a…
  • Aw, Sorry! How long have you been away? I actually just recently moved here (to WA, from CT). We ended up at an indian place, I don't remember the name. The dish was good (butter chicken) but the naan and vegetable samosa was really disappointing. The samosa was very oily and the naan tasted just like the one you can buy…
  • Yes, my fingers have slimmed down! They are still chubby but not nearly as much as they used to be. I still have some ways to go so I am confident they will get slimmer the more weight I lose. eta - even though my ticker says i have 14lbs left, I actually have closer to 65. I just am doing it in small goals at a time.
  • When I first started lifting (a few weeks ago), I did 10 reps, 3 sets. Then I increased to 15 reps, 3 sets. Tonight I increased the weight and when back down to 10 reps, 3 sets. Tonight was the first time I felt like I was getting stronger, even though increasing my reps showed that as well.
  • I'm taking a red eye flight across the US on Christmas. I will be wearing the most comfortable clothing I own. I don't care what you think. But I typically don't personally like going out in pajamas. Yoga pants I've done because I went right from the gym or I planned on going to the gym after. I've worn plain gray lounge…
  • I think since she asked - I would bring it up but in a nice way. I would not say "hey you are getting fat again" or anything along those lines even mentioning her weight. Instead, I would mention working out and if she wants to join you. Or just start talking about your work-out routine with her. She would probably pick up…
  • I find the best selfies are done in the car.

  • I want pho!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • Thanks! I'm going to make a stir fry tomorrow night with chicken and rice. I think.
