Hiya :) I just wanted to encourage you to stay strong. If you would like to add me I would love to be a cheerleader for you on here. In response to your post, I do the same as other posters have said. Since I am the main one to do the shopping and cooking, I buy healthier items and try to serve more fresh fruits and…

You look great! Congratulations on your loss!!

Sometimes when I binge after a perfectly good day, its because I'm subconsciously emotionally sabotaging all my efforts. In that moment I don't really believe that I can reach my goal. I think I'll fail like many times before. So, as previous poster already mentioned - I have started asking myself if I am really hungry. I…

I guess people get a little insecure when they see someone making such great changes in their lifestyle. Don't let them bring you down. Wow what an accomplishment - you have come so far and are doing great! Although I get in a rut with food sometimes myself, I find that eating healthy and for fuel rather than for fun is…

What an awesome achievement! Congratulations - you look terrific!

You look awesome!! Congratulations!

oh i also sometimes drink water when I'm craving something. I tell myself "If you want it you have to first drink 8 oz of water". Sometimes it kills the craving and I'm not hungry. But if I'm still hungry I'll eat it but with in my calorie budget and no more.

I remind myself what I want more (a better body). I tell myself "if you can't just eat _____ then you cannot have it" I think about how I'll feel the next day. Stuffed, disgusted with myself, frustrated, embarrassed that I have no self control. I tell myself that my body deserves me saying no. I tell myself you can eat…

I like pico de gallo or guacamole, or even just some fresh slices of avocado on the side. Or maybe some polenta?

You are so beautiful! Wow 60 pounds in 8 months? what a huge accomplishment? Do not be discouraged. You have come so far and have been so dedicated. Take baby steps, a little at a time, just keep moving in the right direction. It will come! And it will be so worth it. I see you as such an inspiration. Keep up the good work…

I like this because I think its true. Maybe plan to do 2-3 days going to the gym. Then on days when you don't go to the gym find a workout to do at home. Walk around the block, various exercises in between commercials at home, a 15 minute tabata workout and be done, something like that.

I loved reading your story. I felt like I could totally relate. You are an amazing woman! Beautiful pictures. What an awesome transformation :) Good job!

Did you measure yourself? Sometimes I will not lose pounds but I will lose like 2-3 inches. And as people have already said, drink lots of water, minimize the sodium, and give it time! It's only really been a short amount of time. Your body is transitioning, recognizing that things are changing in your diet and exercise,…

Today the host served: ham, turkey, stuffing, gravy, navy beans, sweet potato with marsh mellows, pasta salad, green beans, corn, rolls, macaroni and cheese and potato casserole. For dessert: pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread and key lime pie. I think whenever I think of basic thanksgiving foods - these are them (minus the navy…

That is the way to do it! You're changing your lifestyle -you should feel so proud!

It was when I had been exercising my butt off for 4 months (5 days a week doing bootcamp style workouts and cardio) and had not dropped a pound. I am fat, I need to change that, and I need to get real about my diet. I want my hard work to matter. So. I changed my diet and instantly started seeing the change.

absolutely gorgeous, you must be so proud of yourself. Well done!

LOL! love it. :drinker:

I think its nice to keep things in perspective. But even when I eat a 1000 calorie meal I don't go try and burn off the whole thing. I calculate it into my allotted calories for the day and I exercise my normal routine (or not). I just don't go over, ever. So it doesn't ruin me. But I really liked this site just to kind of…

That is brilliant! Must try it :)
