You can mix it up by adding a pkg of vegetable soup mix (look for low fat/sodium options). It's really good with onion soup mix too. I've also cooked it with freshly crushed/minced garlic cloves & finely diced fresh ginger. No fat or sodium is added this way!

Truvia is Stevia (it's just the brand name for it). It's a natural sweetener without calories - from the leaf of the stevia plant. You use way less of it than you would sugar. I personally don't care for the taste of it, but it's better than the calories in sugar. http://www.truvia.com/
