I think that’s just how Zepbound is. I pay $250 for semaglutide but they said the Zepbound would be a lot more. I just have to pay a copay for my dr. Visit each month.

Try not to worry. I would circle a bit. But I just figured since I have to be on this all the time I’m ok in it taking all the time I need and sure enough now I am at 40 lbs. It was actually my dr. Who suggested and sent a prescription to a local compounding pharmacy here in AZ but they don’t ship to other states. Let me…

@HappyDonkey75 Went through something similar after the first 3 months or so. I think that is what our bodies and minds do- they get stubborn. But hang in there, you will start losing again.

Hi @squirt313 and @HappyDonkey75 it’s been awhile and I apologize for not responding. I don’t remember reading these. I am still on my semaglutide weight loss journey and happy to say I am now down 40 lbs. Still en route to lose 30 more. No regrets at all about deciding to go this route. I hope you both are also doing well…

I agree! I have been using a compounded semaglutide since February of this year and I’m down 40 lbs. with 30 to go. It’s slow but I don’t mind. I just started being open with everyone about it since others are noticing my weight loss. I don’t feel ashamed about my method of treatment because my doctor wanted me in statins…

I have exciting news! I have been taking compounded Wegovy for 8 months and have lost 33 lbs. Just got the results for bloodwork and my triglycerides went from 227 down to 127! I have never had it this low ever! And I am not even to my goal weight. I am definitely getting healthier.

@missymagee3. I have been taking compounded Wegovy for 8 months and have lost 33 lbs. Just got the results for bloodwork and my triglycerides went from 227 down to 127! I have never had it this low ever! And I am not even to my goal weight. I am definitely getting healthier.

If this is cheating I am sticking with it. I have been taking compounded Wegovy for 8 months and have lost 33 lbs. Just got the results for bloodwork and my triglycerides went from 227 down to 127! @theshoreline I have been on compounded wegovy since February and I’m down 30 lbs. it’s been gradual and steady. I can’t really compare it to the actual wegovy because my insurance does not cover it. But from what I read I think it is working the same and so I am happy with it. Plus I have also read that some are…

I love all the comments here! I feel it’s very educational and empowering. We all are trying to do our best in being mindful about our wellness

I feel that semaglutides are helpful for those who can benefit from it. In this day and age more information is leading to the fact that it can benefit one’s healthwise including those with food addiction. Food addiction, like any other addiction is becoming more of a problem for many. And just like in the past there have…

@kyungs. Side effects were tolerable - occasional nausea and constipation. But I could tell it was helping me with my appetite. It was stronger for the first part of the week and let up more towards the end of the week. This was so different than what my dr. And her assistant said when they tried it - it made them very…

For nausea I usually try to keep a small bottle of Powerade or gaterade in my frig and bone broth and ice cold water on hand. For me the nausea gives me a clue that my blood sugar is starting to drop or I may be a little dehydrated. Good luck to you both!

It didn’t start calming my food noise until I got on a stronger dose. I did notice that I had a change in my normal or even favorite foods that I had liked. Those foods no longer sounded appealing to me or would make me nauseous thinking about it.

I too have been using a compound pharmacy and have been pleased. I’m not trying to lose quickly and I’m still learning how to eat on it. I started in February and am down 22lbs - have about 45 more to go. I have experienced occasional nausea but have been able to control it until I titrated up to 2.4mg this weekend. My…

@springlering62. I'm feeling better and tummy is feeling stronger. I will try to incorporate more food today. Thank you so much for asking.
-
@ paperpudding. That’s what I think I will do. I was able to eat a little more today but still a little sensitive. I’m hoping tomorrow will be even better. Thank you for your suggestion.

@springlering62 Thanks so much for replying. I am totally for the compounding version and I actually was thinking while I was sick that - wow! It must be similar to the real thing since I have heard of others getting sick while taking Wegovy. I just have never gotten sick until now and maybe was a little naive thinking…

I have been using a compounded version of Wegovy since February of this year. I have lost 20 lbs but need to lose 45 more. But I know this has to be forever. I had to go the compound way because after several attempts I disappointingly found out that my insurance does not cover weightloss medication…no matter how much you…

Another snack for me is: 1 large marshmallow 1 fun size hershey bar 1 sheet graham cracker Break graham cracker in half; stack marshmallow and hershey bar in between both halves - microwave slighty. A s'more! Delicious and satisfies my craving for sweets for the day.

This is my new "comfort" food. Try this: My Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies 1/2 cup Brown Sugar 1/4 cup Land O Lakes - Light Butter Spread With Canola Oil 1 teas. Mccormick's - Pure Vanilla Extract 1/8 cup Kirkland Real Egg Product - Egg Substitute 1/2 cup King Arthur Flour - Organic Whole Wheat Flour 1/2 cup Quaker Old…
