I bought insoles from amazon and use them in every pair of shoes and went from being in constant pain to only having pain occasionally. Also use a golf ball to massage under your foot...helped me.

I don't have cheat days but build most things into my daily calories and have chocolate/crisps/sweets daily and have still been loosing weight.

I have been told the same advice as you. I found voltarol gel is helping with the swelling and pain. I'm back at work tomorrow after 2 weeks off to rest my foot and I am dreading it! I found wearing a support bandage and my trainers in the house helped too. I've not tried going back to the gym - will see how work goes…

Could you try eating the same calories but not being strict on the types of foods you eat?

First week is the worst, I had one can of diet cola at lunch time and still do some days but don't have the 2 litre bottle I used to drink every day after work. I now buy bottled water and drink this ice cold. You can do it :)

Which tendon? You have lots in your foot? - The hospital didn't tell me which tendon. Does it hurt above your heel, or under it? It is sore just under my ankle bone and this pain continues through the side of my foot on the left hand side. What do you think caused it? I have no idea what caused it but think it could either…

I've only lost 16lbs but have had to buy new work trousers in a size 20 as the 22 was falling off me! A few of my tops are now too big too but I have plenty that still fit. I plan to replace a few items as I go along - have also purchased new jogging bottoms for in the gym. Well done on your loss!

I drink decaf tea and coffee so wasn't getting caffeine with drinking that. Not doing anything for the caffeine and I have more energy than before...could just be a co-incidence.

A young boy was walking behind me and started singing about a BIG FAT WOMAN waddling along the road! I was almost in tears as I knew it was aimed at me! Woke up the next day Monday 10th June and have never looked back :)

Sounds like you have been doing LOTS right since June. Just keep an eye on the weight loss with the calories at 1600. You are at a very similar stage to myself although you are doing more exercise. Good luck :)

Listen to music, take a bath, curl up on the sofa and read a book, take a nap, swim, go for a walk.

I lost a lot the first 2 weeks and it slowed down after that...haven't lost for 2 weeks now! I've not been exercising much so that won't be helping. I have set my calories at 1350 but allow myself to go up to 1500 if I feel hungry at night. Well done on your loss - I have about 80lb to loose.

I've been on holiday from work for 5 weeks, have another week to go and have lost 13lbs so far since just before we stopped. I am hoping my workmates see a small difference but won't be bothered if they don't. If no one notices I'm not telling them and will wait and see how long it takes them to notice me loosing weight.
