I then upped it to 1400 calories and did really good for a while then I got stuck for a total of 10 weeks. I was so discouraged. I started reading…

I was eating 1200 and lost for a little while, then I upped it to 1300 and lost for a little while, then a plateau came again and I upped it to 1400 and lost for a little while, Now I eat between 1400 to 1500 calories and seem to be doing ok with it. It appears to me that you exercise a lot for only 1200 calories and your…

Leslie Sansone and Jane Fonda Walk at Home videos are great and incorporate ofther exercises in with the walking also. I have a great collection of them as this is how I got started. I always fall back on them when the going gets tough like cold weather and rain. Or too hot to enjoy the park.

There is a book about this at Books A Million. And I am an A type also which I love veggies so that is great and it does say you can have carbs but you do have to limit them and I do and it does seem to work for me if I could always follow it. LOL

If you dont have an HRM the best way would be to add it under circuit training, but if you have one you can click add an exercise then go to the box and type 30 day shred , the minutes, and what you HRM says you burned. Then it will always be under your exercises.

I have lost 95 pounds in 15 months. I started on September 14, 2010 and have done this by eating within my calorie goals and exercising 4 to 5 days a week. I have been at a plateau for 8 weeks which is really discouraging but I am still sticking with it because I know it will be worth it all down the road. I would like to…

People who have an extrreme amount of weight to lose could get by losing 2 pounds a week but for your weight and goal I would suggest 1 pound a week. You have to eat to lose. You will reach a plateau fast trying to lose too fast, I would be better to lose it slower and the plateau wont happen so quickly. Plus it wont come…

I was on a diet and reached a plateau, I became discouraged so I was looking online for diet support and tips. I had been using a notebook and calorie counter book to try to create a journal of everything I ate. I found MFP through a google search and it said food diary, and online support so I created an account. I love…
