Congrats on your weight loss you look great! Could never tell by the pic you have a problem with loose skin! I too am worried about this, as I have so much weight to lose. I know surgery to get it removed is so expensive. A dr told a friend of mine that drinking a glass of skim milk a day helps with the elasticity of the…

I saw a therapist years ago, but didn't get much help from it

Thanks everyone... maybe if I just tyr to gradually work past the comfort area it will improve... sort of like at home physical therapy! It was so bad when I was a teenager I would actually miss school because of the pain. I couldn't move..

Thank you all! It is definitely a challenge with 3 kids (2 toddlers!) and living in the middle of nowhere with no gym anywhere near me... just trying to do what I can when I can and focusing on what I eat daily! :) You all are so kind, I appreciate all the nice things you've all said :)

I absolutely love this post, and congratulations on the weight loss! I agree with eating back your calories. I see people who are eating 1200-1300 calories a day that have 100 or more lbs to lose and I just dont get it... they are starving their bodies in my opinion! I have lost 53 so far, and am doing what you do.

Right, of course I will run outdoors too :) I just want to really strengthen my cardiovascular abilities... the breathing, etc... since this is all a first for me. I love running outdoors. I love the scenery, I have an awesome place here to do that... just can't with the weather we've been getting (and how sick we've all…

NSV to report (I think this is my first one!): I have had a pair of jeans that I haven't worn since before I met my husband and way before we had our 3 year old (so this was about 5 years ago!) that I've been wanting to wear. They were so tight when I got started on this journey 3 months ago that I couldn't even get them…

You are so inspiring!! Wow you have done a GREAT JOB!!

But isn't your TDEE based on your activity level daily? I entered in what I do myself and got a different number. I am active, I walk at least 5 times a week and have a gym membership too, so will that vary the results from what you entered for me? In my OP I was using the BMR and TDEE I got from http://www.iifym.com. My…

I guess that's where I get confused ... when different sites give you different results! :( on the http://www.iifym.com site though is where I got the TDEE info. I tried to add up how much time I spend sleeping, sitting, etc. like it said. I may have underestimated it a little but didn't want to overestimate it because…

Well I went to and used the calculators there to get my info. I'm 30 years old, 5'8, 305lbs

Honestly I think it's how you are built and wear you have your weight. I have seen the same situation for myself, only I'm 5'8. People carry their weight in different places, so two people weighing the exact same weight and that are the exact same height could actually wear different sizes!
