to me, I think so long as they are taller than me, I'm happy. at 5'3" it's not hard to find men taller than me but I do prefer the tall men in general. most men I've dated including the current man have been over 6 ft. it's a protective thing i think.

congrats on the awesome NSV, I had pretty much the same thing happen today. weird how your mind skews perception sometimes!

David Tennant has also read the "Hairy Maclary" books which I have had to good fortune to listen to several times. Now though, if I read one of those books to the children at work, it's always his voice i hear in my head as I read it.

I know what you mean, if i go to the gym after a hard day at work and i really need the workout to clear my mind and relax, it works wonders for my mood- I feel so calm, happy and relaxed. any time i do yoga I get this zen feeling, it's just what i need sometimes to centre myself. I love the effect that a good workout can…

I often shop in places like sports direct and primark for sports wear. I feel your pain, being 5'3" myself and not much of that being my legs, all my trousers are way too long for me and I struggle to find stuff that fits. sports wear I usually go for capri/cropped trousers or full on leggings. the "usa pro" line that…

not the biggest fan of bugs but least favourite are mosquitos, fleas, ticks and crane flies. the crane fly creeps me out, also they like to fly at my face and follow me round the house if one gets in. not fun!

today I managed to do some yoga at home, not having been to a class in months due to work commitments, and managed to hold firefly pose for a good 5 seconds. so happy! :-D

I can't seem to sleep more than 5/6 hours ( if i'm lucky and the insomnia gives me a break) no matter what time i go to bed. During the week bedtime is between 10pm and 1230am to be up at 6 for work and no matter what time i go to bed at the weekend I still get no more than 6 hours.

I am a friendly person anyway so the drink makes me even more flirty and i tend to hug a lot and find everything my friends say incredibly funny. I'm a happy, affectionate drunk person. edited for typo.

I am intolerant to gluten, cows milk and eggs and over the last two weeks have made some drastic changes to my diet. due to me loving cheese and pasta etc and many things I shouldn't have I allow myself a day or two each week to have some of the items that would have triggered bloating/discomfort before because i was…

I don't drink a lot these days and my tolerance has dropped significantly since losing weight. I like the occasional beer,/cider rum and cocktail but after 2 i need water as I hate the feeling of being drunk. when i was younger i enjoyed it but now it just makes me feel queasy and want to lie down. I will still go out and…

I agree it is difficult but the last two weeks I have managed to be pretty close to or meet the protein goal. I have fish and either rice or cous-cous for lunch, a chicken or beef based dinner in the evenings and protein bars/ post workout shakes. due to intolerances I have cut down on my intake of cows milk, eggs, and…

we do reasonably well at the athletics and I think our golfers aren't too bad either at the moment.

the one near me has gone rapidly downhill in quality but if you're near one that has some decent items, they're good for a bargain usually. also ebay, I did forget and I get a lot of things from there too... Hi my name is Chrissy and I am (apparently) a shopaholic.

another vote for sports direct, I often get a bit carried away and spend far more than i needed to originally. I agree that Primark is also okay for sports wear if you're not worried about it being sport specific. I have some items from their range and I like them well enough. :-)

unfortunately, not good enough in many of these sports any more. not really a football fan myself, I'm more into Rugby and frequently get my heart broken by the teams (England and Scotland) I follow performances', particularly when they're abroad. not as good as we used to be at all. makes me sad. I'm sure the football…

I love Metal, not just for working out but it is great for that too. some favourites on high rotation currently are: Machine Head Volbeat Pantera Rammstein I also have a lot of pop-punk, indie and classic rock which has it's place, mostly for nostalgic reasons and makes me feel 17 again so will always love too but I am…

I'm from Reading in Berkshire, I log most days, try and support etc when I can. anyone feel free to add me. :-)

I work out with earphones in so i don't usually get a lot of people talking to me but if someone does try and start a conversation, I'll respond and then the earphones are back in. If I'm not in the middle of a set then I am more than happy to exchange pleasantries and have an in depth conversation, often that's with the…

working in a nursery with lots of very little children, there is A LOT of cake around. today was one such day and it was brought in with the strict instruction it was for the staff only. my lunch break rolled around and i turned down a slice of the gooey, chocolatey cake and opted for a little cake-lollipop thing instead.…
