I've been on this site for a long time now, but just recently restarted. I lost 40lbs almost 3 years ago, but gained it all back and more when I had my son two years ago. Since then it's been a struggle, since I hate logging. I'm committed to losing the weight this time, and keeping it off. I'm going to log daily, whether…

Hello! I've done this a few times now. I always seem to start and give up. This time my husband is on board too, I'm going to be logging consistently, and I hope I'll gain a friends list full of people to motivate me (and to help motivate them back). I'm 5'3". I weigh around 220lbs, probably. My scale is packed away at the…

humans lose the weight in their stomach area last, because it's "needed" to cushion the organs, and don't forget the organs themselves! it's probably genetics. i will always have a big butt and thick legs. the size of your pants only matters to you. people's opinions wouldn't change if you were a size 8 vs a 10. only you'd…

This is what I'm thinking. I wouldn't necessarily blame the mother, it was an accident after all, but blaming the zoo won't help anything either.

I've heard that doing chest exercises will lift breasts and make them look more perky! I'm sure they look incredible anyway. Also, if you've lost all that weight, I would assume your band size would change.. If your band size goes down, the cup size may need to increase, lifting your breasts a lot better than your current…

I am not a professional.. but I would never assume you had an eating disorder from reading that.. I mean, I don't know you. There may be an obsession with fitness and food, but I don't know if it's severe enough to warrant being called a disorder. There is a good chance these girls are jealous and your healthy habits are…

Ah! I'm getting married in August and I CANNOT afford to drastically alter my dress if I lose too much weight.. I think I can afford to lose a little before my fitting, but I'm hoping I won't need to have it taken in..

Didn't read through the replies, but these have been probably been said; World's Greatest Dad Marley and Me And any movie about actual world issues, Blood Diamond, The Kingdom, Sharkwater, etc. Documentary or not, those never sit well with me. I know I'll sit down and watch it one day, but I'm scared to watch Earthlings.…

I'm a SAHM to a wonderful 11-month-old boy. I'm 24, looking to lose about 80lbs.

I agree as well. It can't hurt anything but your wallet to look at yourself and see what makes you tick.

A little bit of both? I believe the doctor gave her the best options given the situation. She would have better chances of delivering successfully and have better care if something awful were to happen? Where's the problem? The only thing I can see that the doctor should have reconsidered was falsely claiming it was…

Meemaw and Grumpa for my parents, Grandma and Grandpa for my husband's Mom and Step-Dad, and Grandad for my husband's Dad.

I'd love more mommy friends! I'm a SAHM to an almost-1-year-old boy. I have about 80lbs to lose as well. Any friends are welcome!!

Without reading the article, my only opinion is that I like to believe in eating most of your calories in the morning, and fewer in the evening. Technically chocolate cake would help make this happen, but probably not the best decision (albeit the most delicious!)

Instead of fajitas or something, make lettuce wraps. Use spaghetti squash instead of pastas when it's in season. Buy fresh bread that you can have cut thinner than standard loaves. If you're vegetarian and not full vegan, cut down on your dairy, but not eggs. Lots of egg whites are filling and low cal. Some yolks are good,…

Is this your favourite joke of the day? Lol.

12:34 and I'm at 733 calories.

Toronto here! :)

First, I'm from Canada.. It never ends. Second, I grew up in a city near Toronto called Oshawa, which has the moniker "The dirty 'Shwa." The south side of Oshawa is slightly scary, the north side is a gorgeous city! It's irritating when people making judgements about the whole city based on a few (really) bad areas.

My fiance and I have been discussing this a lot recently to figure how much of each background my son has. I am 50% Acadian, 25% Scottish and 25% English. A whole lotta white. Lol.

Yes. I have wanted one my whole life. To this day I often think of what my 3 wishes would be. :)

I have never been diagnosed as having ADHD, but this sounds too familiar for me. I am the QUEEN of starting a project with vigor and excitement, but then never finishing it.. The same with this. I do great for a while then find excuses for myself to stop trying.

I didn't have a section, but still have the "new mommy" awful tummy flab.. I did require surgery during my birth though so I was out of commission for just as long :S Now I have a lot of weight to lose..

Lady Roseda Durham Phillips Love it!

I can do groceries for my fiance and myself every 2 weeks for under $100, and that's getting things that are sometimes a little pricier. We live on "no name" brands. They taste the same and are much cheaper. We eat a lot of pasta when we're low on cash, as well as sandwiches. Cheaper meals for us also include anything in a…

MYTHBUSTERS!! Lol. But seriously, I think the point of this message is that it doesn't hurt to be cautious. There's never any harm in that.

I like to eat the same foods but change them up a bit. Different veggies or toppings with the same meals. Helps me save on groceries too! I never have left over ingredients from that meal I tried once and won't make again. :)
