Any kind of meat, fried, roasted or baked, low carb veggies. There are tons of recipes but really, just take some meat, chicken thighs for example, Add some spices and garlic, bake it, eat it with a salad. Slice zucchini into flat slabs, coat with olive oil, salt and pepper, sprinkle with parmesan cheese, and bake until…

just get it to show you the fibre and subtract it from the carbs. easy peasy

Hey all, I'm 10 days in and 10lbs down! I'm finally getting over the energy slump and feeling really good. I haven't been peeing on sticks or anything to make sure I'm in ketosis but I'm trying to keep to 20 carbs, so pretty sure I'm there. Its not as hard as I thought, but you definitely have to been in the right mind set…

Or you're more than 5 feet tall. I see plenty of people that are a size 6, 10, or even 14 that don't need to diet. But they're 5'8, 5'10 or 6'1. Not everyone is meant to weigh 100lbs. Health BMI for me (haven't been there in years! but it exists) is 170 lbs. I'd still be at least a size 12, and I wouldn't be on a diet.

Guuurl, I'm so sorry for your loss! But for real, it has nothing to do with your weight. Its luck. I would suggest plenty of fish over tinder because I've heard tinder is more of a hook up site. I've had good luck on Plenty of Fish, but holy you gotta be choosy. People are pretty gross for the most part, so its just about…

The back fat fold under my ribs is gone!!

I find that the weight loss journey isn't linear, especially after the first "stage" where everything just flies off. Hormones, water retention, macros, etc can make it go in fits and starts. It sounds like you've done really great so far! I wonder if you can look at the data you've collected and see something that needs…

There is no link between age and BMI, I think you're personal trainer might be FOS.

You look like your own hot little sister! Wow! Congrats!

It does sound like you should be loosing a bit quicker. While I don't think that bacon, butter and cheese are the devil like so many do, I think that all things in moderation is very important, and a calorie is a calorie. So if you want bacon butter and cheese, you better balance that with a bunch of other leaner stuff.…

I have not had this experience with mine being synced... It takes them away in the morning, but then gives them back as I burn.

I hate doing jumping jacks... my thighs "clap"... its horrible.

The nice thing about having the fitbit adjust it for you, is that on the days that you are not working, it subtracts those calories so that you don't over eat. Or you go for an extra walk to get some calories back. We nurses are on our feet a lot, and that counts for something!

Congrats!! That's great!

I'm 6", and very 'stocky', as in my shoulders and hips (the bones not the cushion) are really broad. I am aiming for 167lbs, or 76 kgs as we Canadians like to say it :)

0.5-1 lb per week is a very realistic goal. If you do some intense exercise, you will see a lot of inches lost with that weight as well. Good luck!

Hey, Good luck on your journey! Here is my advise: Breakfast: Loose the toast and add another egg and some meat. Also salsa on eggs with avocado is amazing. You should try it. Lunch: Add some veggies. Maybe throw that tuna on a salad or something? An apple or a banana is great. Maybe add some peanut butter for some good…

Quick weight loss and a focus on running is definitely going to loose you a bunch of muscle. That doesn't sound unreasonable to me.
-
Yep! eat a bunch of very ripe fruit, veggies, drink tonnes of water, avoid starches for a few days to loosen things up.

At my heaviest I was 215, at my lightest (about 9 months ago) I was a smokin' 179. Now I am back to 202 :`(( So sad!! I am trying to get back down to where I was! I'm very tall and 'sturdily' built, so I think at 170 I would look like a super hot amazon goddess with sexy curves. I am going to be so, so happy to get back to…

How tall are you? Unless your really short, 115lbs is not a lot. Many women stop getting their period because they are under weight. Being a runner wouldn't make you loose your period. Stress might for sure. Talk to your doctor.

I agree with OP! I have such a hard time not just picking away at a giant heap of fries in front of me, even though I am full, know they are just a pile of carbs I don't need, and that they won't keep. But they are there and they taste good! I agree, and I also prefer fine dining!

So funny!!

-25C with a windchill of -39C!!! Holy crapoli that's cold! in F that's -13 feels like -38.5. Brrrr. I have never heard of it this cold in southern Ontario, Canada before. I'm sure it's happened, just not to me.

[/quote] That would be people on some sort of ketogenic diet..... THink paleo.... people who eat only fats and protein.... You will lose weight and burn fat if you are at a caloric deficit.... The reason people lose weight doing low carbs is because they are cutting out a source of calories they are not making up…
