Maybe you're being too strict with yourself and that's what is driving you to binge. Ehhh?
-
I do this once a week and eat whatever I want all day. Usually it's not too terrible though since I'm used to eating healthy and junk food just makes me sick.
-
If I were you I'd probably go for an easy, light jog today and then take the next day off, maybe do a little yoga. My best tip to give you for running the race is to start off slow! I know most runners know to start off slow so they don't wear out, but it's easy to get excited at a race and start off too fast-especially…

That's exactly what bothered me about it. Why should kids be drinking fat free/low fat milk? Fat is important, especially for brain development. This part of the menu seems completely unnecessary and possibly even harmful.

Ohhhh you! Hahaha. Seriously though...I find my hair is way healthier if I only shampoo it a couple times a week. Other days I simply rinse it and wash with soap along my hairline. Call me a hippie but hey, my hair looks bomb.

I use body fortress whey protein after I workout in a shake. I use some almond milk, 1 scoop of the protein powder (which is about 22 g of protein i believe), and some fruit. I try to have it within 30 minutes of working out. Sometimes I'll use it as a meal replacement.

Congratulations! that's definitely progress. I'm new here and can someone please enlighten me on what 'NSV' is?
-
No because I know I drink "enough". I drink it all throughout the day so it just doesn't seem necessary for me to track.

I agree that you're probably gaining muscle. Another thought- prior to joining the gym, were you using a scale at home to weigh yourself? Or were you being weighed by a doctor? And now are you weighing yourself at the gym? I ask because there's typically a 5 pound difference in the scale I use at the gym and the one I use…

Taco Bell. I don't eat meat so I can just substitute beans for the beef with pretty much anything on the menu. More options for me than most fast food places. Love the mexican pizzas. Might go once a month or so.
-
It's definitely enough to start with. You mean 8 pound dumbells, am I right?
-
my parents have a scale that reads body fat but i'm very skeptical on its accuracy.

I haven't looked at your diary yet but my first thought is that 120 pounds sounds way too low for a girl of your height. Of course it depends on your body type/build. I'm 5'4" and 120 would be too low for me but everyone is different. I'm just urging you to question if that's a healthy goal for you.

Just have to say that I love your profile pic, that's my favorite Little Britain sketch!
-
I usually input it. It kind of depends on how much of it was absorbed into the food, though. If I see that most of it is left in the pan when I'm done cooking with it, I probably won't log it or will just log at is a teaspoon or something.

This tip is specific to 30DS and may seem obvious but it wasn't obvious to me. Don't do it barefoot! Wear athletic shoes like they do in the video. I did the first 3 days barefoot with no problems but then on the fourth day my "index" toe was tingling on the jumps, followed by sharp pain. I quickly put on my shoes haha.

Yep, just what I was going to say! That movie is ridiculous. If you want to watch a real documentary about nutrition, watch Fat Head. It's on Netflix. It totally makes fun of Super Size Me and is really eye opening.
-
hmm i'm tempted to try this but also hesitant because putting stuff on my face just makes it break out more!

I love Tofurky brand kielbasas! My boyfriend loves them too and he's not even a vegetarian. Boca spicy chik'n patties are good. Morning Star's fake meat crumbles are good too, I made biscuits and gravy with them a couple of times and it was so delicious
-
No way, I'm not at all concerned doing it for 30 days straight. Especially if you're getting in other exercise, you will still see results.
-
Hahaha that's so funny, I was just going to say the same thing about the Kashi cereal. Holy crap it's almost unbearable. It's still sitting in my cupboard after almost a month because although it tastes great, I don't want to be letting ones rip every 10 minutes. It's insane.

Those side lunges with the arm raise is KILLER. My left shoulder really starts aching during them. I love the chest presses too, they feel really easy which makes me wonder if I'm doing it wrong haha.
-
Absolutely, I don't think I'd be satisfied doing nothing but 30DS for exercise. I go to the gym to lift/do cardio, do trail running, and do yoga. So 30DS only gets done every other day or so but it's a nice kick in the *kitten*.
-
I've never done it before so I'm not sure here but I'm gonna take a wild guess and say "circuit training"
-
i've tried this twice. i think the first time i just became unmotivated, the second time i was getting really good at it but eventually my elbows were killing me :( and i had to stop. any advice?
-
someone just posted this website the other day, getdrunknotfat.com ...check it out
-
bumping, would really love input on this!

Did day 2 today and it was much easier than day 1. I didn't take any breaks! I'm not doing the days consecutively, though. I took two days off from thirty day shred since I was running and going to the gym. Question! How do you guys log this workout on here?
