First off, I wouldn't be so concerned about your weight because you are a healthy weight now! But as for the binging, I would bet you feel the desire to binge because the rest of the days you are not eating enough! MFP builds the 500 cal per day deficit for you (which by the way is a lb a week/not per day if that's what…

Lost a pound! Hopefully it is still gone after a disaster of a day yesterday : / NAME.............................................SW...................CW.....................Lbs Lost this week.................... GW 00trayn…

Yes, my boyfriend and I make meals we use the recipe calculator and then just divide it up into servings and it tells you how many cals per serving.

I like casseroles or loaves of something that I can make on Sunday and keeps all week. My faves are zucchini casserole with brown rice, egg, and cheese or veggie meatloaf with mushrooms, lentils, nuts, onions and spices.

good thing about tapas is that they are small plates...maybe just watch your portion control don't order too many dishes?

Yeah, I would definitely set your activity level up! At least lightly active maybe moderately active. It sounds like you are on your feet a huge part of the day. I have my activity level at lightly active because I live in NYC and walk as my main mode of transportation haha.

wow great job! I can't believe what a difference in 6 months!

If I am out at a bar I do vodka soda and either a splash of lime juice if they have it or if not just a lime wedge. It is not that tasty but I can deal with it and the lime makes it bearable.

hey msproducer-has the FT4 ever given you a problem in the water? I was thinking that one as well since it won't break the bank. This may sound like a stupid question but is the HRM under water at all during aerobics?
-
Also, you don't have that much to lose! Any damage you have done is totally reversible : )

It's ok! We all fall off sometimes. It took my months upon months to really start consistently losing. I have found that when I have a bad day if I log anyways I am MUCH more motivated to have a good day the next day! I get into trouble when I just don't log.

I have done this before as well. What helped me was just changing my outlook. Instead of saying oh I am doing so well I can eat something bad I force myself to say I need to keep going this is working! It also helps to keep a focus on what my "ultimate" goal is.

Hey mercury, Do you have access to a pool? I have injuries and can't do a lot of exercise but swimming/water aerobics has been great for me.

I'll join ! I think I could use a little extra motivation. NAME.............................................SW...................CW.....................Lbs Lost this week.................... GW 00trayn…

Wow you look great!

I have found rice cakes to be good for this. When I get the comfort munchies and I want to just grab a bag of chips and eat the whole thing I reach for my rice cakes! I just had 4 of them (didn't have lunch today because I had a big, late breakfast) and it was only 140 cals.

I am the same way. I eat dinner around 8 or 9 o'clock. I read an article recently de–bunking the eating late is bad for you myth, but I don't remember the name of it. Plus, I can't do anything about it. I work late.

I was really skinny until I graduated high school. In high school, I ran cross–country and winter track and I played softball in the spring and summer. I ate whatever I wanted and stayed skinny because of all that exercise! In the beginning of college I worked out at the gym pretty regularly but got sidelined by a number…

Talking to the doctor is key here, they can recommend some PT and then you will have good strengthening exercises to do. You may even remember some of them from getting PT after surgery. I have bad knees–from years of being a track runner. Also, if you have bad knees cross training is really important. Don't make running…

hey! We have about the same amount to lose ( I have my ultimate goal set at 120 lbs but really I might just be happy and stay at 130). I think it is sometimes hard when you don't have THAT much to lose and you knock off those first 10lbs or so. At least it is hard for me. I start to think–oh, I look pretty good now...let…

I love Whole Foods! I generally shop there every 3 weeks or so ( I go to Trader Joe's on the other weeks because WF really is about double the price & TJs has so many healthy options!). I like that they have: hint waters (keeps me off soda), Annie's cheddar bunnies for snacks, the fresh fish dep't, fantastic bread with…

I am in a very similar boat. I used to be an athlete (long distance runner) and so I could eat whatever I wanted and not gain weight. Then a busy college schedule came, and now an even busier law school schedule and the pounds just piled on as I wasn't working out much and kept eating the same! My total weight loss goal…

Hi, I would definitely file a complaint with the Medical Board against that Dr. I would also notify the insurance company. He sounds like a complete hack! I have knee problems myself (currently can't exercise because of fluid in my left knee). I have had knee problems since I was in high school when I was about 105 lbs…

hi! I haven't given it up entirely, basically because I see this as a healthy lifestyle adjustment rather than a diet and I know I am not going to want to give up ALL alcohol forever. BUT, I have just recently started limiting myself to only drinking any alcohol once per week. Other nights if I go out I just order a…

ugh yes yes I do this exact same thing and sometimes it spirals to gaining some back =/ I was feeling really good about how I looked in like October so then during final exam season I kinda let myself go (and used the no time to cook excuse for ordering greasy foods every day). Then I ended up gaining some back =/

I am petite and also agree it sucks when we gain it's so noticeable. But also I think on the other hand even if we are carrying a little extra weight we don't look "as big" as if we were taller and a little heavier.
-
I have a weak knee and I like to mix up the stationary bike and swimming.
