  • I have this HRM too. It works really well for me. Most of the time it even works in the pool when I do my swim workouts. I paid $130 on Amazon for it. It was worth every penny!
  • I'm 5'2 & 1/2 and I have my goal set at 120 but I can't really see myself getting down that far and being "fit." I was 120 lbs in high school but I was a competitive distance runner. I think I will probably stop at 130ish. I am a small frame, I think, not really sure lol.
  • blah, you already know my deal. I apparently have just a "hypersensitive bladder" or a really mild form of IC, now sure exactly. So far I have just tried to cut back on alcohol and coffee. I also cut out all soda and teas and citrus. Sometimes it bothers me and other times it doesn't =/.

  • Mine does this sometimes during my swim workouts. I find that wearing a tight fitting shirt to keep it in place helps--most of the time when it stops reading it's cause it slipped a little bit so I wear it extra tight. Also make sure the chest strap is plenty wet before you put it on.

  • I have bad knees too and I am also only 24! lol I used to be a very competitive runner (how I got the injuries). My best advice is take it verrry slowly with lots of strength training (for the leg muscles) and cross training. I haven't quite gotten back to running after my latest injury but I really hope to soon!
  • I use the polar ft4 while swimming. I actually do record my heart rate with it as well while swimming. For the most part it works great! Every so often it slips a bit while swimming and it stops recording but when I adjust it it comes back.

  • Well...I am back up in 140 land. I was up to 141 yesterday and then today I was back down to 140. I still have high hopes that this is just some water weight (I did have dessert yesterday though I stayed close to my calories).   • YES! I hate this. I used to get comments and "looks" up and down from my family when I was heavier because I was getting overweight. Now I get comments like "oh better be careful you don't gain that weight back again!"

  • Most of the time I log my bad days even if I have to estimate the cals it keeps me on the right track. Every so often it just gets too complicated...like if I have a little bit of a bunch of different things and then I don't log.
