Question about FT4 HRM

I bought the FT4 and so far LOVE IT! In the week that I have had it no problems other than hockey.
During hockey the first thirty minutes had no problem, kept up with me. The second and third game my watch kept saying to check my HRM. It barely registered for those games. Any ideas why? Anything i can do to fix this? Could sweat cause it to not read???

Mine does this sometimes during my swim workouts. I find that wearing a tight fitting shirt to keep it in place helps--most of the time when it stops reading it's cause it slipped a little bit so I wear it extra tight. Also make sure the chest strap is plenty wet before you put it on.0

I've found that some material blocks the HRM chest strap signal. It could be a build-up of static electricity in the jersey or just the material itself that throws off the signal.0
