The scale hardly budged for me last month . I was freaked out but just kept doing what I know is healthy . I only lost 2 pounds last month BUT I lost a pant size . I will never look at a plateau the same ever again . Cindy

I'm 5' 8 and I weigh 243 now . I have lost almost 100 pounds . My goal weight is 160 . Once I'm there if I need to lose more I will . When I was 16 and 160 I wore a sz 8 . I would be happy with that again . Cindy

Thanks for all the advice . I have been strength training for about 2 weeks . If I where to just do free weights I have no idea where to start . The machines are self explanatory . I will try raising the weight and doing fewer reps . I had most of the machines set at 30 pounds today .

I too am feeling short at 5'8" .

One thing that always helps me is to remember I didn't get obese from one days eating and I won't get to a healthy weight with one day of clean eating . Really let that sink in . Cindy

I eat 2 tbs of peanut butter every day . I have lost almost 100 pounds doing this . I think moderation is the key . I measure my peanut butter out every time .

Technically it was a NSV for yesterday but I walked around the zoo yesterday for 6 hours and could have kept going . I also bought a sz 18/20 sweater yesterday and it fits . A year ago that would have been a 26/28.

I was 257 last weigh in . 255 today. 2 pounds lost . :smile:

I eat an egg beater omelet with salsa and light cheese . 2 pcs of 35 calorie wheat bread with sugar free jelly and a light yogurt . I have this almost every morning. Its very filling and under 300 calories.

I too love peanut butter . I believe if you measure out a serving its fine to have . I eat a peanut butter and sugar free jam sandwich on light multi grain bread for lunch a lot of the time .

MFP overestimates calorie burns by a lot . The machines at my gym are always off too . I use a Polar FT4 heart rate monitor . I don't think you will get close to the actual calorie burn unless you use a heart rate monitor . Cindy :flowerforyou:
