Having a really horrible day today; there is just some really crazy stuff going on in my life at the moment. Luckily I managed to go hide out in the gym for a few hours and get away from some of it. Logging in 927 calories for today with the elliptical, circuit training, and strength.

Ready to sail, Cap'n!

I'm totally ready to go tomorrow! :) Got a nice day of biking and circuit training planned.

Level 2 is currently annihilating me. :P

Double post. How rude Internet. :(

My usual plan seems to be something along the lines of 6 days of working out and 1 day of active recovery. Three of my six workout days include strength, and then the other days include whatever else I feel like doing (DVD, biking, swimming, dancing, standing on my head, etc). I also walk or run intervals with my puppy…

Thanks, will definitely try this!

It is just in your head, cause I see a huge difference! :P You've seriously done amazing! And I'm so happy for you that all of your scores improved, you've accomplished so much! Your hard work is a huge inspiration. :)

Oh man, I love Ezekial bread... but that's good news, you can send me your leftover bread! :P

I'm in! I'm already a week into Ripped in 30, but I figure I might take a little longer doing the third and fourth week since they look brutal, so I'll definitely be doing it for all of July.

There are so many ways for you to get the protein and nutrients that you need that are not meat dependent. Quinoa, beans, lentils, legumes, tofu, soy, tempeh, seitan, nuts, seeds, and of course dairy products if you choose to include those as well (milk, greek yogurt, cheese) - and those are just to name a few! There are a…

Ooo, thanks! I checked them out online and they even have tall sizes, hooray! I'll check them out next time I'm at Target. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

That is one fine yacht! Yep, we definitely have the best looking boat. I'm so modest! ;D

I'm so ready to go! I want to start sailing today. :D

Woohoo, yeah Marcia! :D

I think the original thread said July 1st? But I'm ready to go now! :P

That'll be great, perfect timing! :D This challenge gives me a reason to kick my exercise up a notch too! :)

Hey, I'm vegan! Feel free to add me if you like. (:

I just use a cheap digital Taylor scale that I got at Target - I think it was somewhere between $15-20. I tested a few of my dumbbells on it and they all came up perfectly at 5.0 lbs, 8.0 lbs, 10.0 lbs, etc.

I don't see why there needs to be an argument over it, period. I do what is best for me; I'm a vegan for ethical, not health-related reasons. My long-term boyfriend and all of my family are omnivores. So what? I don't force my choices on anyone else just as I wouldn't want other's lifestyle choices forced on me.

House centipedes. No thank you.

I have to agree with sweebum. Also, try to only weigh yourself once a week and at the same time of day. Your weight will fluctuate throughout the day and that's perfectly normal. Additionally, whenever starting a new exercise program (especially one that involves strength training), your muscles will retain some water. You…

I don't have cheat days, but that's just me. I do however still have the foods that I love, but just in a healthier version or smaller portion. Pizza, for instance, I will make myself and load it up with sauce and veggies. I still have all of the things I love, but usually modified and homecooked versions of them.

I take a Deva vegan multivitamin, B12, and omega 3. For the most part, you're fine with a multivitamin that includes B12, and any other supplements will depend on your specific dietary deficiencies or personal preference. Here's some specific information regarding vegan nutrition:…

Yes, I absolutely weigh everything for accuracy. It makes measuring out quantities of beans, rice, and pasta a whole lot easier too and it really takes very little time to do. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVjWPclrWVY

No, but I would love to! I have a serious lack of workout buddies, I swear none of my current real life friends have any interest in health or fitness.

I eat almost all of my exercise calories back and use a HRM to make sure that my calorie burn is as accurate as possible. However, there are days where I don't eat all of them back - either I'm just not particularly hungry that day, or I have a day like yesterday where I was participating in a biking event and burned 1,700…

I'm 5'11" and usually try to eat a net of 1600 calories currently. I workout every day and will usually burn at least 600+ calories a day through exercise, and I usually eat most or all of my exercise calories back. I will zigzag calories when I seem to get stuck on a plateau (which has happened three times in the past…

I have to agree with all the ladies that suggested Moving Comfort. I'm a DD cup and whenever I'm doing my circuit training and jumping around like a maniac, the girls are set in their place. The best part is that the bras are also extremely comfortable.
