6 days a week for about an hour or more. Any day where I bike, it's usually 2+ hours - I really love it! But days where I weight lift, dance, step, or something else... it's between 45 minutes to an hour long.

I don't think that's rude at all. Bring your sandwich and enjoy! :)

Find something you enjoy doing and rock it out. I saw a dog in a couple of your pictures... maybe just walking the dog? Great exercise and time together. I personally love to swim, and bike... so those are things that I'm always excited to go do. If you like to dance, maybe something like zumba or one of the other dance…

To get started, one person usually just makes a new thread with the desired title for the group... and then leave a link here to the new thread, and you're off! :)

Looks like we definitely need a group. ;)

Moving on, yes, I'm definitely in for a group. :)

Been a vegetarian since I was 10 (I'm 26 now), and I've recently converted to veganism over this past year. Feel free to add me if you like! :)

Mine have stayed the same. I was a DD at my heaviest and still am a DD after dropping 90 lbs, even though my band size has dropped several inches. I was always this size though, even when I was at my ideal weight, so I didn't expect them to go anywhere. :(

Rubybelle said it perfectly. Unfortunately I'm in the exact same situation with my mother. It's hard to watch them go through it, so my heart goes out to you - the best that we can do is support them and be there for them if they need us.

Hey, great to see that you found your way here! I was in your position last year when I was diagnosed with PTC, but have successfully gone into remission. It's not a disease that you want to mess around with (I have permanent vision damage in my left eye from it sadly), so I'm really glad to see you here. Feel free to add…

Not really, I'm doing it for me and no one else, so outside opinions on this particular matter don't hold much weight (no pun intended). That aside though, some people might feel uncomfortable commenting and don't necessarily mean for their lack of comments to be hurtful - I personally wouldn't say anything to someone…

This is off the top of my head, so not the most comprehensive list, but... Snacks: Oatmeal (Optional fruit on top) Raisins Pinto bean salad Vegetable/bean tortillas (These take me about 7 minutes to chop and cook) Soy yogurt Applesauce Veggie/hummus wrap Make your own granola without nuts Smoothies (You can really go kinda…

Sounds like Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Stretching afterwards really helps me, although after an especially intense or new workout, I usually end up sore no matter what I do.
-
I do at least an hour a day and incorporate a variety of workouts, including dance, high intensity intervals, and lots of heavy weight lifting. I work out because it makes me feel good, not because I feel like I have to. When I first started working out, it was maybe for 20 minutes, 3 times a week, and you practically had…

Yes, it's completely normal and due to hormones. :P Fruits and veggies are great healthy snacks that you can eat quite a bit of, and drinking plenty of water will also help to make you feel more full. Exercise is great too, because not only does it help to reduce cramping, but you can afford a few extra calories to boot…

Second is breathtaking! I showed my boyfriend since he was sitting next to me, and he picked second as well. :P

My boyfriend had to go through this last year - he was in a lot of pain prior to the surgery and having the same symptoms you described. Needless to say, after the surgery, he felt monumentally better and is back to living a happy, normal life. Although all surgery is serious - you will be fine, and I wish you a speedy…

5'11" with a medium build and I have a goal weight of 170lbs. Beyond that, most of my goals will be in body fat percentage, and whatever number on the scale that represents is fine by me. :)

Looks delicious!

Started the 9 week program right away on Moderate. I love it! I'm going to do the 9 week on Hard next time through after I finish the first round.

Catching up a bit on posts since I was in a rush this morning, so don't mind the delayed responses. :P Heather: Thanks for linking the warrior dash! I remember looking at that this past summer and I knew there was no way I could do it at the time. Now you've got me thinking about trying it in 2011. That's really great that…

My 3 Goals for Today: (This list is a little modified since I'm currently sick. :P) 1. Complete my usual workout, or just go for a walk if I don't feel well enough to do my usual routine. 2. Get at least 4-5 servings of vegetables/fruits today. 3. Get plenty of rest.

meokk - I know exactly what you mean, trust me. :P The first thing I'm planning to do is buy new clothes. Plus all of my current clothes are baggy and I hate buying new clothes when I know that they also won't be fitting well in a matter of weeks or months. LittleSpy - That's awesome that you got in a morning workout! I…

My weight loss has slowed down considerably. When I was obese, and especially at the start, I was losing 2-3lbs a week. I was eating well and doing light exercise every day (but nothing intensive or vigorous as I would quickly run out of breath). Boy, was I out of shape! I steadily lost at a rate of about 2lbs a week for…

You've already taken the steps to start, which is hard in and of itself, and you've lost 5 lbs to boot! You'll do great. :)

Welcome! This site is a really great tool and the support is awesome as well. I'm out in the western suburbs as well. :)

That is an odd issue, but you have the right idea with just focusing on yourself and your goals. You're in this for you. :)
