Just having fun. BF isn't for everyone, just throwing it out there. I hear you about the gym thing. I don't go BF in locker rooms.

I suggest slowly transitioning (while you are a new runner it's much easier) to being barefoot and then incorporating minshoes for weather etc. This really helped me.

I have been running barefoot for almost three years. I can attest that for me it is safe and has reduce injuries by forcing me to rest when I have pushed myself to much (a major cause of injury), corrected my form (another cause), and made running more enjoyable. That said, go slow as a turtle and don't buy minshoes until…
