You're clearly doing it wrong.

I take 5k per day. I used to take 10k, but my last bloodwork, my serum levels were near 100, so I backed off a bit. Vitamin D3 RDA levels are ridiculously low of 400 iu.. I'd pretty much suggest everyone take 1-2k per day.

Don't worry about protein timing. It makes almost zero real world difference. Just hit your daily goals and leave the timing to personal preference.

You're only big because you're carrying about 40-50 lbs of extra body fat on you.

There is variation in max heart rate.

Dr. Oz is an idiot. And don't waste your money.

Keep losing weight. It will go away.

Agree... Do a normal bulk and cap body fat levels around 15%.

I think you're bending over a bit too much. Squat and foot placement is fine. You need to push up from your butt more. Overall, not too bad. Just keep working. You form will improve as you gain strength.

Lots of fat left to lose. Lots. Ask again in 20-30 lbs. (Or more)

There are a few scenarios where it's possible to gain muscle while losing fat. - The first of those is in overfat beginners. I want to really stress the term overfat in the above sentence. This phenomenon doesn’t happen in lean beginners for reasons I’m going to explain in a second. - A second situation where this…

I'm sure 95% of the men out there would want to be ripped than run a mile. Running a mile is cool, but offers little real world benefits. Being ripped with muscles offers a TON of real world benefit as well as at least SOME of the cardiovascular and most if not all of the health effects.

Resistance training has plenty of cardio-respiratory & cardiovascular effects on its own, as long as you’re not training like a pure powerlifter with long rest periods between all sets.

You are correct!

Great post! Well thought out and easily read. Another person who "gets" it. Hopefully, more people will follow.

when you get to that point, its time to start lifting weights and try to add some muscle mass. There comes a point in time where you get too skinny to lose more weight despite the fact you still have stubborn fat left.

dont waste your money.

Spot reducing fat is a myth. Doing belly exercises does NOTHING to reduce belly fat! Abs are made in the kitchen.
-
Neither. I use jefit, and there is a smith bench listed in the exercise list. But seriously, I really hope you're doing some other chest exercises besides that. I do inclines on the smith, but I also do bb and db work as well.
-
Just lose weight and do some type of resistance exercise. Your belly will go away. Don't be surprised to have to get lighter than you expect to get your belly as flat as you like.

Awesome story T, thanks for sharing. I hope you inspire someone. Maybe one day I'll share my story on here as well when I'm happy enough with my progress.

Your posterior chain is lovely!

Uhh, NO, don't listen to this ^ Eating breakfast does NOTHING to speed up your metabolism.
