I think you are being a little too greedy about your first full. You really can't compare your half and use that as a predictor of your first full....down the line, when you've got some more marathons under your belt, you can better feel for what you can possibly do. But for your first, ask a lot of people what they…

you need to clean up your diet if you are really serious...eating chocolate and McDonalds chicken nuggets are apple pies are not going to help
-
ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! If a personal trainer is giving out specific dietary information and is not a registered dietician, you can lose you certification. ACE Certified Personal Trainer :)

LOL - yeah get your facts straight.... Carbs are essential for your body, as well as fat and protein. Cut one of them fully and you will lose weight, but you won't function normally too long.

first off, DO NOT go to the market hungry.

put that incline up, up, up on the treadmill

2-3 days....not weeks

I recently started a low carb, low fat, low protein diet...i'm also losing weight very quickly....sorry to say, this is a recipe for disaster.

your lies will only hold you back....so what happens when you lose 100 lbs, you are now 107? Honey, he knows, he loves you enough, not to talk about it. Stop living in secrecy.

This is how I started and still kinda do today. Sunday - rest (I know you don't like to, but it you start for lifting, you really do need it) Monday- 30 min on bike or elliptical, 45 minutes of lifting - (legs, back , shoulders, arms, or chest) Tuesday-run, 45 minutes of lifting - (legs, back , shoulders, arms, or chest)…

you are choosing to live, not kill your body. You are at the other end of the spectrum that many of us do not understand, but hope the best for. Treat every day like a new one and everyday that you eat right in an accomplishment and a step closer to a healthy body.

I weight myself. Eat the pizza. Weight myself the next day. Subtract the difference.

you gained on 1500 because your body saw it, latched onto it, in case you deprive it again. Once you eat more, you won't gain as fast...and will require more calories...to an extent

that's the best way to do it. have things on standy if the sweet toot strikes. I buy these ice cream sandwiches that are 140 calories, 2-3g fat, and like 25 carbs....not high in sugar either. Allow yourself these things, don't deprive yourself of else you will go into cravings overload.

I eat a lot of fruit, little candy or sweets, but it's in a lot of things. Do I look at it on the labels when buying things, of course, as I look at fat, carbs, protein, and sodium. Just be mindful of it.

capris or longer shorts...the only way your legs will get smaller is if you keep exercising. you everyone looks blissful when running, but you are doing it, so people will respect that.

why do you need us to justify your eating habits? Did you have guilt? Yes? Then BAD BAD BAD. No? Then HOORAY!

HOT - some men don't like it because they think that the women look "manly". That's stupid. If you have abs, you worked your *kitten* off for a great physique, so oh so HOTT!
-
"Don't lose any more weight or you'll look gay" "you're not gay are you?" SWEET MERCY!!! ***that was like 20-25 lbs ago***

I would see a doctor to help. This is a eating disorder, an addiction almost. Good luck!

I would feel so taken advantage of, women posting pictures on me on the internet of one of my most vulnerable moments...**tears** That being said, perhaps I will just try this similar premise but ask girls for their numbers and see how many I can get...how many women would actually give it up? I think, a lot. Us runners…

Still maybe 10-15 more to go. I agree, no male success stories. I think there are plenty, but men usually don't want to share their stories as much, for the most part.

Agree with most everyone. I usually come back, eat a protein fruit smoothies, maybe a Qdoba burrito, shower, maybe short ice bath, then long nap... Just didn't know if anyone had any secret recovery methods...

My rest day is every other Sunday. This works best for my schedule. I'm not a heavy lifter or anything so I don't need as many, IMO. I generally run 3x week, lift 5-6 days a week. It depends on how you feel. In the beginning I didn't like taking rest days, but with all the added stress of long runs, I really need to.…
