Well, such a good thing couldn't stay a secret from me forever. Better late than never I guess. I'm a 38 year old male enjoying the journey. My goal is to get in the best shape of my life, which would be quite an accomplishment as I was a 3-sport athlete who regularly ran 7-10 miles for college baseball conditioning in the…

I wish I could "Like" posts, because I'd be liking every one of them. I was just feeling really good today and I am in the "scream from the rooftops" phase of my transformation in so many ways. I feel like I have to share with the world. But nothing I can say on here could top the amazing achievements of each one of you.…

Good point. I realize not only the overweight people trying to lose are on here. One day, I too, hope to be in maintenance mode or gaining mode from a muscle perspective. But perhaps the person could indicate such and the stats could be tallied as: X lbs. of muscle gained and X lbs. of fat lost...or something like that.…

You are not alone. People are lonely for a variety of reasons. I was in a pretty deep depression the last 6-7 years and recently woke up, got help with some medicine, and am now living a better life. Now that I've got some momentum I can't wait to get out there and meet people. Problem is, how? Same question you asked. So…

Yeah, I'm the same way, but the more I eat regularly in the morning I'm starting to feel my body need it and crave food. I'm hungry all the time now. I suppose that means my metabolism is really kicking in because while my calories are under my goal each day, the sheer quantity of food I'm eating has to be double what I…

I can understand why the opinions vary on this so much. It really depends on how you were raised and neither are bad, just different. I happen to have been raised in a house where bodily functions happen and you move on. Well, you may laugh a little, then move on, but you get my point. However, if I met a woman that did…

Hello friends, I'm recently separated, living alone, and for the first time in 15 years I'm in charge of my life. I joined myfitnesspal initially with a little skepticism, but I was lucky and had a couple testimonials from 2 friends who had lost 80 lbs+ each. That's all I needed. I was always active early in my life,…
