LOVE my hrm. It's consistently lower than MFP and the machines at my gym. Am assuming it's more accurate. If nothing else it's a great motivator!

I got a heart rate monitor. Gives you a pretty accurate calorie count.

I don't mind the gym, but I don't really know what weights I should lift - how many reps, what weight etc.

Mostly cardio since I started the 30DS. I have 5 days left of that and then would like to start something else. Also, think it's probably a good idea to add in weight training.

Is it okay to do some type of exercise everyday? I'm doing the 30 day shred, and the days I take a break from that, I go to the gym. I've heard your body needs a break, but I feel crummy when I don't do SOMETHING.

I love Advocare. Really only use the Spark and Rehydrate but have tried a lot of their products. Not a pyramid. I only buy for myself and have never gotten any pressure to do otherwise.

43. How can that be?? Wasn't I just 22? I'm new here too and would love some motivating friends. Friend me!

I just signed up on here today. Was shocked at how many calories I had already consumed by lunch of my allotted 1200! I hope being more mindful of what I eat helps because nothing else seems too!! After 3 kids and just turning 43 I am frustrated with how difficult it is to lose weight and then keep it off. Wish me luck!
