Well I completely understand about the hair growth I am a hairy beast. However I can't say I feel you on the periods. I don't have periods haven't had one for six years. It's really important for me to have one because I don't feel feminine enough.

That's great!!!! I have done the low GI diet 3 times, but this time I'm really trying to stick to it, now that I have the resources at my fingertips. I have lost a lot with this diet. The first time, Iost 40lbs in 3 months. I've been sticking to it now for a month and I've lost 20lbs.

I follow the low GI diet. It works really well, I stay away from sugar and heavy starches.

Yes I know, but I'm in love with tater tots/french fries, so try my best to keep them out of my diet. I always have a cheat day every Friday and I cheat and eat some tater tots. :)

No, I don't. I just have really bad insulin resistance.

Fruit has a lot of sugar in it. If you want to decrease your sugar intake, you should cut your servings of fruit in half and try to eat more veggies.

I couldn't fit my clothes anymore and I gained 40 pounds in one year. I decided I couldn't be a productive citizen, if I didn't get this weight off. I also did it for my health, for I have PCOS and I have a greater chance of developing diabetes.

You don't have to cut out tortillas, just try whole grain ( i prefer) or whole wheat. :)

I want be healthy in all areas. I want to be able to feel good about myself. I'm starting a new chapter in my life and I want to be ready mentally and physically. I'm also a shopaholic and I want to be able to wear cuter clothes. :)
