Kelly Coffey-Meyer has an excellent and large assortment of 30 minute workouts. Many of her workouts come with two 30 minute sessions, so you can mix and match to do more if you have more time. She has one of her exercisers demonstrating modifications of the moves, making them more appropriate for your individual level.…

Yes!! Excellent advice! I have actually started doing this just this week. It is supposed to be among the most important ways to manage blood sugar. So glad you posted this, Alex!

I've recently discovered Kelly Coffey-Meyer and love her DVDs! She has a whole collection of 30 minute workouts - excellent! She has one of her participants demonstrating modifications, which is helpful. She has one called "start here" and lots others. I am mixing those up with Walk Away the Pounds videos. Hope this helps!

Bump!

Nice adding in the strength too! Do you do that on your own or with Leslie? I'm really enjoying strength training now! Never did weights much before.

Great job!! My knees were sore after the 5 miler :). 2 miles is excellent and that is my daily goal for the month of August, too. Some days will be more or less, depending. That little froggy is hopping along, :) Nice job!

Welcome!! Glad you are joining us! That is a very reasonable goal! There are lots of very successful people that come back here month after month and they are seeing fantastic results in weight loss, energy level, and other health measures. I have done approximately that much for the last two months in addition to some…

We have made this and it is delicious!! I really prefer the texture of steel cut over regular oatmeal. The only problem was it smells SO good while cooking, so the delicious smell woke us up too early, lol! So I will now do it during the day and reheat in the a.m.! Thanks for posting!

Thanks for doing that!! I think we will beat it! :)

That's great! Your puppy is so cute! Today's walk for me was "5 Really Big Miles".

Bump! Big cauliflower pizza fans at our house, and casserole looks easier! Thanks!

So great to see some new walkers join the group! I am going to set a 60 mile goal. I figure that's average 2 per day or 4 every other - should be reasonable. I am trying to add strength training, which cuts into my walk time, but I think I can do it - I NEED to for my health!
-
Congratulations! Way to get back in! May it be just the first of many times you meet your goal! :)

Yes, AnnofB it sure does make us sisters in sweat!! :) :) Walk Slim 5 Really Big Miles this morning. 49/40 for the month :) Pinkypan's sweet story about her walking with her son made me want to share this: My kids are all enjoying my exercise DVD collection and we encourage (well, require:)) daily physical activity . My 11…
