It works for me, but that doesn't mean that it will work for everyone. I like to get my run done at 6am before the kids are up and before my husband leaves for work. I find I have loads more energy during the day if I do. I find exercising in the evening harder to fit around the kids and their activities, and I also find I…

Fantastic! My 10 year old son has told me that if I can run a 5k in a decent time by the time football season finishes in May he will come with me every Saturday morning to do the local Parkrun.

6 miles stationary bike and 1 mile walk today

2 mile walk today. At this rate I can't see me hitting my target this month as I have a nasty virus which has set my asthma off, meaning that running and cycling are off the agenda for now. Still doing my couple of miles a day walks though, so I'll see how far I get.

Snap! I started at a UK size 20 and thought I looked good - I took pride in my appearance and spent a lot of money on nice clothes. Now I am a UK size 14 (or a 12 if I'm lucky) and I am far more critical of my appearance.

I get one every week, in fact one came in the post this morning. If you look at the cost in relation to the weight they are outrageously expensive. However if I went to Julian Graves and bought big bags of everything there is no way that I would control my portion sizes so well. So that makes it worth it for me. I have one…

^ This I live in Wales and we have had to pay 5p for plastic bags for a year or two now. Bringing your own reusable bags quickly becomes a habit. And if you are shopping for clothes etc on the high street it makes you think more about your usage, you might pay for a bag in the first shop but then in the next one you put…

I know exactly what you mean. I started at 210lbs and am now 168lbs. I feel GREAT. I still want to lose another 14lbs, but I already feel so much better than I did when I started. But then I see people who are the same height as me who hate the way they look at 168lbs, or at 154lbs (my goal) and are desperate to be 30lbs…

Because getting to the pool when you work, have three children and live 6 miles from the nearest pool isn't easy! I would love to swim more frequently, but it just isn't possible. I can run at 6am before my husband goes to work at 7am, but as the pool doesn't open until 7.30 I can't swim. The children have music lessons,…

I haven't been mostly sedentary of late, as I said I already run, cycle, swim, walk and do yoga. I just don't have a set pattern to it. This is copied from the Daily Exercise Journal thread and shows what I did this month: 01/12 - 20 mins running 02/12 - rest day 03/12 - 25 mins running, 30 mins swimming, 40 mins walking…
