Was under calories yesterday and all healthy nutritional food. Unfortunately I woke up at 1am starving, but my blood sugars were fine so I ignored it. Today I am on track so far, but I am still really really hungry for some reason. Hopefully it will pass. Only 10.45am and I've had my weetabix for breakfast and banana and…

That must have been really scary. I am 42 next week and something like that happening scares the life out of me.

I am thinking of getting one, do you find it good? I am worried about wearing it at work due to RSI when typing so I am still in the deciding stage considering they are not cheap.
-
I find myself eating a lot of eggs also and beetroot.

For me getting better control on my blood sugars is a great achievement. I still have a way to go to get them right as I keep having hypos, but at least they are low enough to have a hypo, last time before this March was Christmas 2014.

On target so far today and planning on staying that way. Need to lose the 3lb I've gained whilst being poorly.
-
Still suffering, so don't think there will be much activity.

Not my official weigh in day until Friday, but I wanted to see what damage I had done whilst poorly. I didn't stay under 300lb for long, back up to 301.5lb today :(
-
Still been comfort eating and feeling sorry for myself whilst poorly. Back at work tomorrow and determined to get back on track.
-
Checking in but still poorly so only half here :(

I measure just above a uk 5 but very very wide. Usually end up with a 6 that give me blisters cos they slotch. The places that do half sizes don't do wide fitting. I really need some good trainers.

I manually created my 45 minute Aquafit class and put it at 1 calorie. That way I can log my exercise without it adding calories as I don't want to use them.

Turns out my migraine was actually a sinus infection, so I've been ill since Friday :( and I've been comfort eating including lots of chocolate. Got antibiotics now and should be back at work on Wednesday and back on track.

I really haven't moved off the sofa today, terrible migraine :'(

I am currently going through the process of bariatric surgery. It's been a long slow process. My sister and my diabetes nurse have been suggesting it for years but it always scared me. Finally in September 2014 I asked my doctor to refer me after gaining weight on insulin and being told I have background retinopathy. I had…

I'm here but poorly so not sure how the day will go.

LCSt68 - Wow that is a very sad story, but even though I don't know you I am so proud of you for sharing it. It can't have been easy, but hopefully it will be a big step in achieving everything you want. I'm so glad you now have a supportive husband and hopefully a happier life. You have joined a good group and we will…

I test all the time in public and don't worry about it. I am insulin dependent so I have no choice. I even inject in public. I just discreetly lift up the bottom of my top to inject. The only time I have gone to the toilet to do it is when I had a full length dress on. No way to discreetly lift that up to your stomach. It…

There are a lot of forums for people with diabetes that I found very useful. When I was first diagnosed 9 years ago the advice was to follow the British Heart Foundation healthy heart diet. But that advised to base every meal around carbs. I found if i did that I would always run high. I read a lot of forums and did a lot…

I did a 45 minute aquafit session yesterday. Today I am really not feeling very well and I am so tired. So my intention today is to leave work at 4pm and then lay on the sofa and not move :( Hopefully by giving in to my body today, I will have the energy to do something tomorrow.

I love how many people are going for this challenge. I think it is going to be a great 15 months :D
-
Glad you joined LCSt68 :) I get weighed every day also as I find it helps to keep me focused. But I only record it on a Friday. So don't worry if it goes up one day, just choose the best day for you to record it.

Well done :D

Here :)

Official weigh in this week 2.75lb lost. That is a total of 17lb in March :)
-
Came in just under calories today but went over on carbs.

I have dextrose tablets if I need them. I am not allowed to drive under 5 so seem to be using them a lot since starting back on this.

I have just gone hypo :'( I've had some grapes and two weight watchers biscuits, which were my planned 3pm snack. But if my levels don't rise soon I am going to have to have something else and that will make me go over on my calories :(
