The best advise I can give is staying away from processed foods. I used to eat the Lean Cusines etc. and pre-packaged foods until I started reading the sodium amounts. I also stopped the diet soda, made a huge difference. Hope this helps.

This is also great to make banana ice cream...yummy! I just throw the frozen banana into the my chopper add a little fat free milk and a teaspoon of pb, my daughter and I love this as a snack:)

I stopped drinking diet cokes about a month ago....that and coffee was all I lived on for beverages. I was not so suprised to see how healthy my skin became after cutting out processed food/dt. sodas etc.....however I was suprised to see that my 4 year old daughters already beautiful skin started glowing and looks so refreshed! It hurts to realize that MY choices before was taking that away from her!

I just tried the Vita-tops this week as an evening snack....YUMMY!! Another added benifit is I "go" like never before the next morning there is a good amount of fiber in those suckers and the chocolate ones are awesome :)

I tried that diet years ago when I was a teen....I lost about 15lbs, but gained it right back when I stopped. And talk about BORING!! This is a yummy recipe....the only thing I do different is I make my own salsa to try and cut even more sodium.....So nice sitting there just waiting for you to get home and eat :)
