  • I'm geting some great feedback everyone! Thank you so much!! P.S. I am exercising!!
  • I've had this happen too (under my arms also). Its worse after shaving for me. I have used vaseline to prevent it, but they also make some stuff called "body glide" you can buy at sporting good stores. It is specifically for chafing. My hubby uses it and swears by it.
  • Hi Stacey! Feel free to add me. I'm a stay-at-home mom to a 2 and a half year old. Would love to have some more support on here also!
  • I've never tried it, but I posted this awhile back: I came across this link and thought some of you may appreciate it as much as I do. I'm a vegetarian and although I will eat certain foods with eggs cooked in them, I will NOT personally make anything that requires eggs. Now, I can still make it, but use the egg…
  • I was hesitant to take anything while breastfeeding, so we used good old fashioned condoms for around the first year of our son's life. To answer your question, the mini pill is what my doctors were recommending while breastfeeding.
  • I have about 5 more lbs to go until I'm at my goal weight!
  • You can't see the difference?! Wow! That's amazing!! You're a very beautiful girl!
  • Yesterday was that day for me and a long walk with a friend was all I managed. Today, I'm doing pilates. I take it easy when my body is telling me I should =)
  • I used to use the ones that came with my ipod and they worked great for me..until I lost one of the ear buds. Then, I used my husbands (skull candy earbuds). I fell in love with them and asked him to get me some for Christmas. They stay in really well for me and they come with three different sizes so you can try each out…
  • Sounds wonderful! Thanks! I'm always looking for new easy, vegetarian dishes =)
  • I just moved from there! We lived in Crestview, but my husband is in the Navy and worked on Eglin AFB. =) We are living in Auburn now, but I would love to add you as a friend =)
  • I'm with ya! I'm changing my calories to MAINTAIN for the week we are travelling and I'm not going to stress too much about what I'm eating/drinking. I will NOT let my trying to lose a few lbs overshadow our week home with family that we don't get to see. Who cares what my Grandma puts in the cake? I'm eating a…

  • I'm going to look at this as an honest question from someone who doesn't have much experience with the military. Let's see..where do I begin? Thank them for taking a dangerous job that pays WAY less than it should. Thank them for leaving their family..their wife, their little boy/girl..to protect their homeland. Thank them…
  • I was in a very similar situation! I had only 12 lbs to lose (halfway there!) and that's when I found this site. Keeping track of calories and exercising more is all it took! Sounds so simple right? I, too, was in normal/healthy bmi, but was on the high end (5'3", 137lbs...goal weight of 125) As for the disordered…
  • I am a military wife and truly appreciate when people let my husband know how thankful they are for his sacrafices. What an awesome idea! On a side note, I saw on your profile that you're from Corona, CA! We were stationed in San Diego about 5 years ago and one of my friends and I went to the MOST AWESOME day spa in Corona…
  • Thank you so much for sharing! You will be a great inspiration to many, I'm sure. I don't even know you, but feel so proud of you. I'm sure it's hard for someone who has never gone to the gym a day in their life to take that first step. Kudos to you! And congratulations to you for making such a healthy lifestyle change.…
  • I like the traditional Maybelline (pink with the green lid). I read in a magazine to do one coat, then let it sit for about 15-20 seconds and do another coat. I've tried all kinds, and this is my absolute favorite. It definitely lengthens AND volumizes:bigsmile: good luck!
  • No to be mean, but holy cow that sounds boring! I would go insane. With that being said, if those are the foods you enjoy, good for you! It sounds like you're at a good weight for your height. Maybe you should stick with maintaining your weight and work on toning. That's what I would do in your situation!
  • I found that Diet Cranberry Splash (made by Sierra Mist I believe) and one shot of vodka makes an awesome low calorie mixed drink. The only calories are from the vodka (69 cals). I'm not even a huge fan of mixed drinks, but I highly recommend trying this one. You can't even taste the vodka. If you're a beer drinker, I…
  • Wow! That's amazing!! You even look taller and are standing straighter (a direct result of you also feeling so much better about yourself!) What an awesome accomplishment! Congratulations =)
  • First of all..THANK YOU for asking this question. I've been wondering the same. Like most of the answers, I find it do-able on the days I exercise and get extra calories (and I DO eat them). On days like today, I didn't exercise because I'm too sore from my race yesterday and ifelt I needed a day off. Therefore, I had only…
  • I appreciate everyone's advice and especially the ones that included a reality check.. I decided not to do much of anything different from my regular diet. EXCEPT I didn't drink coffee befire and I ate almonds and a banana before the race. Thanks everyone!
  • Thanks for the help. I weigh 134 right now...going to get back down to 125 soon!! I'm pretty sure I did my math wrong in my post...lol.
  • that last msg was for Jourdan:smile:
  • I was hoping you'd have an answer for me :) I just noticed we weigh pretty close to the same right now and have the same goal weight! Maybe we'll meet our goal together!
  • Cool! It looks like you're on your way to your goal weight :) Great job! I'm about to send you a friend request.
  • Oh my gosh! the same thing happened to me over the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm running in a 10k this coming Saturday and did my "practice run" last week. I had an upset stomach afterwards and had to run to the bathroom a couple of times. I've researched this subject and have found its completely normal. From what I read, 50%…
  • steamed broccoli with a little salt is my fave!
  • I am a military spouse and totally get wanting to neglect everything to spend time with him. Do your best with the diet and get him to go with you on long walk or jogs or whatever activity you both like to do. It was hard for me to get back on track too. We went to visit our families for the holidays and it's hard to…
