So I should eat back my exercise calories because there are others who state don't eat back the exercise calories?

I will definitely have to invest in a food scale because I assumed that measuring was good enough. Sigh I will get this all down one day

I do not weigh. I simply measure with measuring cups. Also I do use a lot of the generalized items. For example this morning I snagged a biscuit with 3 half strips bacon from cafeteria so I don't have packaged values in those.

Thanks. I found it.

I don't know how to open my diary. I thought it was open

I am measuring my food. I originally was using their numbers which was 1200 per day but found that a bit too extreme for me so I reduced my goal and it changed my calories so now it's at 1450.

Agreed, I definitely need a heart rate monitor so I can accurately track. I have just been using the similar method of sofaking6 and changing the calories based on 5-7 calories per minute, and tracking the exercise with modified numbers because I find it easier to just look at MFP to see how many calories I have left.…

Thanks for all the suggestions. Most of what i see is to plan for it, so my goal for next week will be just that. Ensure I am planning accordingly for when attacks hit. And trust me, the same thing is happening at our office...lots of holiday treats...very tempting.

@GeekyJock76, my lean body mass, based on a calculation of weight-(weight * body fat percentage), was estimated by the training staff to be 133.4. And yes, i am only 5' tall.

I do a combination of both. I work out with kettlebells a couple of days a week and combine in some cardio during the other days. Like other said, weight loss at first was minimal but saw definitive changes in my body. Lost 8 inches in the waist alone within the first 3 months.
