  • While doing my 150 walk in March at the mall yesterday, I stopped in a H&M store. I tried on a cute black leather jacket and when I looked in the mirror I was so happy because not only did it fit, but I thought it was actually cute on me. NSV goals reached- 1) I Had the courage to walk in a regular (non plus size) store…
  • Hi everybody. My goal this month is to lose 5 lbs and to walk 150 miles. 1) haven't lost anything :( 1) Have walked 16 miles so far-surprising :) kind of have the flu right now, but am going to try to do my 5 miles today on my elliptical instead of outside or at the mall.
  • I would love to go from 185 to 180 this month. , but the scale does not seem to be moving. I am doing a challenge of 150 mile in March, so that's my biggest challenge and hopefully it will help move the scale. At the very least I will be way more fit and have had accomplished something I've never done in my whole life,
  • If you had asked me a year ago if I though that I would be 100 pounds lighter this year, I would have been terribly embarrassed and probably changed the subject.[ Up till last February, I would spend most of my walking hours dreaming of being skinny, or hating my looks, or planning ways to get skinny. Everyone on this site…
  • You should measure and take pictures. I wish I did from the start, but only started 4 months ago. You will be so excited to have real measurable results not just the scale.
  • Some goals I am working on this month -walk about 5 miles a day ( crazy group I just joined) -stop snacking while I pack lunches -dress pretty, regardless of not being at goal weight yet
