Don't try to change everything all at once. You get overwhelmed and quit. The "Just for today" method worked well for me. I weight myself every day. I know that my weight goes up and down with an overall downward trend. It has to do with what I've eaten (salt), if I've had a BM recently (typically I have one every 2-3 days), and if I am approaching TOM. (I gain before TOM and lose after). I think non-stop on my feet cooking from 7am-3pm will be my exercise for the day. If I have energy after dinner, I will go for a walk. I expect to hit 10K steps for the first time (this start over) tomorrow.

Had to travel (for work this week). I was out of town at a meeting Wed-Friday (midnight). So all meals on the road, no car to go buy what I wanted. Mine's open, but I was out of the country for a few days (nothing there), but am back to keeping my diary. My calories are a little low right now, but my meals are sound and if you add a snack (or eat a little larger meals, you will be good calorie wise). Try to have veggies, protein (meat) each meal and wine.

Trying to become healthy again. I started (again) 23Oct16, so I have gone back 2 weeks on the timeline. I have re-started fitbit and cooking meals at home/eating healthy. I dont work out with my rings on (cardio ok, but not weights). I take a safety pin and pin them to the inside of my shirt, near the collar where i can feel they are still there, but do not need to worry about loss in the locker.
