This site will show you some guidelines but everyone is different, so is every store so it is best to wait until you're closer to the date to prevent being disappointed! http://www.mybodygallery.com/

I'm interested in hearing how you do as well on this. I have psoriasis (diagnosed at 2 so 30 years ago), as does my boyfriend. A coworker of mine had psoriasis much worse than I had it and she worked with a Chinese herbalist that gave her an exclusion list of foods to eat (very similar to your list) and some teas that she…

Welcome to MFP! It's a great tool and a great community...for the most part. Congratulations on taking this first step and for losing your first 2 pounds! There's a lot of great information on the discussion boards - try and read all of the sticky's (the discussions in bold at the top of the first page of each of the…

I too am a Starbucks addict....or a recovering one at least. My daily drink of choice was the caramel macchiato, switched to a skinny caramel macchiato and then when I wanted to save some money, I switched to a Sugar-Free Caramel Macchiato with a splash of skim or soy milk. Now that I don't have it daily (my wallet thanks…

Tip: my boyfriend and I use a tortilla wrap instead of pizza crust (180 calories), we use pasta sauce instead of tomato sauce/paste and love loading it with broccoli, ground chicken, feta, red peppers and a bit of jalapeno havarti cheese and maybe some parmesan! Love it...gotta have that over the weekend actually :)

if you have the FT40 then you would use the Polar Beat app with your HRM to show your heart rate and give you feedback on what HR zones you are in. I like the view of the Polar Beat app more than looking at the face of my watch sometimes so I use that. The Polar Flow is only for Polar watches that have activity trackers so…

depends on what type of watch it is. I have an M400 and I have the Polar Flow for my activity/sleep patterns and the Polar Beat for tracking my workout when I have my HRM on.

bump....When I did the first round of Insanity I found I definitely lost inches (and I could tell in my before & after photo's). I've heard that the 2nd month is better for weight loss although I didn't do the 2nd month. I'm 2 weeks into Month 1 right now and plan on finishing both months.

wow, just wow! What an incredible story....very inspirational. And like a few others have said, you definitely showed those doctors, didn't you. That's so awesome that your parents came in to watch you finish - very cool!

Congrats on the tax refund! Mine is going to be going towards my car insurance - its pretty expensive in British Columbia, Canada. My vote: A digital scale, gym membership, a few sessions with a personal trainer, a HRM (that maybe has a built in step counter if you want it) and maybe a membership to Costco (if you have…

Try "Strength Training" - its in there :)

I love Petrina's post above - I've totally done this. I've just started going for walks on my lunch break - don't get me wrong, I still eat, I just eat at my desk and "work" from there before going for my walk. I've also done the following - spurts of 30-60 sec per exercise - high knees - jumping jacks - running on the…

that's huge! way to go, that's a great achievement!!

My go to protein shake is: - 1 frozen banana - 1 cup of almond milk - 1 scoop of your favourite protein shake in Chocolate or Vanilla (I like the Whey Isolate protein shake from Costco) - Blend and serve You can also add 1 Tbsp of peanut butter as well (natural peanut butter or other nut butter) - delicious! I'm not sure…

I love my pressure cooker. I make a mean Eggplant Coconut Curry in mine. But I've also cooked chicken and pork in mine. Makes the meat super tender and seasoned/moist with whatever else you put into the pressure cooker. I'm going to look at the link from QueenLiz though :)

These are delicious with ground turkey or ground chicken. Love them. I've made 3 batches already and eat 1 as a snack or 2 as a meal with some veggies. Great on the go since they're a muffin! http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/docs/2011/jamie-eason-turkey-meatloaf-muffins.pdf
