Yes!!! You can lose up to 2 pounds a week walking your dog 3 to 4 miles 5X a week. My golden and I did the same; he never got tired of going out for a walk!!!

Go to WebMD; it calculates your calorie intake based on age and lifestyle. Are you trying to maintain weight or lose it? I find my 1200 calorie intake works well for my age and light activity lifestyle. Plus I calculate 5 pounds weight loss per month, even though I told MFP that I wanted to lose 2 pounds per week. Keep logging your food everyday; it really works. Try Cadbury Dark Chocolate. No weight gain whatsoever!!!

I take in 1200 calories a day; exercising means you can add back another 200-300 calories for 30 minutes of burn. Don't worry you can do this. Check out WebMD to see how many calories you should have for your age, height and weight!! Good Luck!!!

Don't beat yourself up!!! Try exercising or meditation to relax!! Set a goal of 5 pounds per month; use MFP to keep track of your eating. Logging in everyday really helpts!!!
