whey is good for a lot of different things... you can use it to marinade and tenderize meat (makes for a FANTASTIC brine!) pour a half cup or so in a smoothie for some extra tang and digestion aid (not so much for a citric acid version) you can replace milk in things like pancake batter, cake mix, muffins, sauces, etc.…

omigosh! sounds delish! i am totally using this the next time i make "pasta"

getting sanskrit in henna red on or under my wrist...or near the base of my palm. it's a nonsense phrase that i use to memorialize my family. :) at least i KNOW what it says... idk if i want to stylize it or not, but that's the general idea.

yummmmm! a new bread adventure to tackle! :D

congratulations to you both! :D

considering how baby food is really just the concept of mushed up normal food (the idea is there, but there are FAR too many chemicals and additives to be normal!) you may as well just portion and puree your own food. you'll save tons more money that way. probably tastes like food too instead of funky mush. really, the…

i agree 100%! don't LET them hurt you with ugly words and judgements. turn the hurt into drive. think of the negative comments like your calorie ticker...for every calorie that you burn, you are burning one more negative comment. think of them as fuel. however, i do want to suggest sitting down with your family members…

well, aside from the obvious answer already being presented, gather up everything processed in your pantry...find a friend, neighbor, or co-worker who is not so conscious of their intake and offer the food to them. or donate it to your local food pantry. you can even go so far as to allow yourself ONE processed item in a…

that is so AWESOME! i am SO happy for you! :D

peanut butter, cheese, almonds

bump for deliciousness!

shirataki noodles (aka. miracle noodles) are really filling, low cal/low carb lettuce, lettuce, lettuce! low nutritional value...it's mostly water and fiber anyway. i also agree that chia works well. i have a chia-gel "snack" pretty much every day
-
dear lord, that looks sinnfully good! *drooling on my keyboard!*
-
this sounds amazing! i like mine pureed and mixed yogurt and fresh mint and frozen for a few hours...tzatziki pops!
-
really expensive unless you know where to find it. i try to have lamb or goat at least a few times a year, though...on special occasions. :)

panna cotta! so creamy and cool! softer than jello, more firm than yogurt! droooooolz!
-
hardly! i love spinach! you could toss it in the blender and puree it. several uses there: add to marinara sauce for a healthier Italian dish. mix it in with a smoothie (the color will be off, but usually fruit masks any spinach flavor). whisk in some eggs and seasoning and make spinach crepes. add to meatloaf or burgers…

depends on what you are picky about. is it flavor? texture? smells? appearance? i LOVE cooking and playing with new foods. if anyone wants a recipe here or there, PM me. i can't promise a lot of them, but going off your preferences, i'm sure i can figure out something for you to cook that you'll enjoy.

peanut butter + chopped garlic + chopped ginger + teensy bit of sriracha sauce + teensy bit of soy sauce schmear on some chicken breast and grill or bake. low-fuss peanut Thai sauce. :) i'll also put a tbsp on my chocolate protein bars (homemade freezer bars)

so sorry you have to go through this struggle. :( it really does become a challenge when your partner is against your lifestyle change. i agree with several people that this could be a level of insecurity on his part. you mentioned that he has pressured you to settle down, and you have refused to tie the knot. perhaps he…

panna cotta! cream/yogurt/milk + sweetener/flavor + gelatin = DELICIOUS!

idk if it could function as french toast both because of absorbancy and because of how beany the flavor is. but the bread pudding sounds good. might have to make it a savory bread pudding. i was going for pumpernickle...so, i don't think "sweet" would do much. also, the savory aspect might help with the soy taste. thanks…

i am doing a variation of atkins meets keto. you can add me if you want. :)

moderate the cravings... if i want a treat, i check serving size and reduce it to half or less and then PUT THE REST AWAY. that way, i can still indulge, but with little or no guilt, and no temptation to keep chowing down.

outstanding! great job. :D

maybe this?? but, in the event that this post is sincere, a lot of the food choices you listed are not going to be high volume, just high calorie. essentially, a sugar spike and less food in your stomach. try high volume foods (ie salad greens) or dense food (ie legumes) to carry you through the day.

I was chubby growing up, but now I'm a beast. It's kind of fun having the reverse experience. *** Nope. In fact, I weigh less now than when I was half my age (11). Feels good, man. *** these! i cried the day i tried on my high-school jeans and they FELL OFF! it is such a good feeling. and now i know that i can never go…
