  • I make this soup regularly but don't follow the plan as I don't like fad diets. The soup on it's own merit is fab for a winter lunch and it keeps really well. I normally make a massive batch and portion it off and keep in the freezer until I need it. I either liquidise it to put in my flask for work or I leave it chunky…
  • Thanks for all your opinions. I'm going to give it a go (not eating past 7pm) for a couple of weeks and see how it affects weight loss, attitude, emotions etc. It may not be for me but I'll post my findings. Thanks again for taking the time to reply :o)
  • Surely it must make some difference if you have a big meal and go to sleep directly afterwards? My thinking is that I rarely exercise after my evening meal and sometimes eat very late so I don't burn any calories before bed. If this doesn't have any adverse affect, fair enough. Just interested in others opinions.
  • I have been with my boyfriend for a similar amount of time. If he wasn't supportive of my choices I would certainly consider ending things. Luckily we both use MFP even though I have twice as much to lose as he does. When we first got together I was a happy 140lb and since then I've gained 60lb. Even though I'm not happy…
  • I did Slimming World a few years ago and lost just under 2 stone which brought me to target. Unfortunately it didn't teach me portion control and I ended up putting the 2 stone back on plus another 2 stone! I still use some knowledge from Slimming world like only using frylight and making sure that a third of my plate is…
  • I keep thinking about joining the gym but I get panicky around people I don't know and I think that might be a bit too much for me to cope with at the moment. Hopefully that will change soon though.
  • All the cool kids ride push bikes. You're just jealous! :oP
  • You can do it Stace! This is the first time since my skinny phase 4 years ago that I feel confident about losing weight. My food diary is open so you can see the ridiculous amounts of fruit and veg I'm eating! haha. Also g&t is my saviour! x
  • I've been prone to binge eat and now I'm trying to lose weight and get my life back I just make sure I eat all the time. I split my calories evenly throughout the day. I always have raw veggies and fruit available to snack on. Try having a handful of nuts when you feel light headed as they will give you enough energy to…
  • What do you put 30ds down as on your exercise tracker? I'm undecided what to use
  • Yeah I'm just realising that. It sounds so patronising though when someone else tells you. It's easier to find these things out on my own.
  • I'm currently on Citalopram which seem ok but I still seem to be very up and down. I am better than I was though. I find cycling helps me relax so I try to get out as much as possible. Unfortunately I can't spend all my time on a bike!
  • I'm 5'3" and currently 210lbs. My ultimate goal is 142 as that was my 'happy' weight and a comfy UK size 10. I've got a long way to go and I'm only in my first week but I feel positive. I really need friends on here who can offer support and tips so please feel free to add me. Good luck to all :o)
  • Thanks. All ordered so tomorrow will be the start of the new me!
  • I've just ordered the dvd. Do I need anything else like weights, kettle bell, gym ball etc? I'm really looking forward to starting it. I cycle a lot so my fitness levels are ok but the weight just isn't shifting. Hopefully this will work! x
