I notice that when I'm on the placebos of my BC I crave sweets (and maybe all food) like crazy. I'm over halfway through my calories at 11 am. Ugh...

100% this. I have always been told that I am cute/attractive despite my weight so losing weight doesn't really affect my perception of myself. This also makes losing weight for "body image" issues irrelevant to me. My motivating factor for weight loss is almost entirely health.

LOL :-) This is how I feel. Years of sports as a kid = even when I weigh less than 130lbs I have 15'' or more calves. Some people are just cursed with the huge calves.

Once I wake up for the day I can't go back to sleep. Hence I've been up since 3am... I used to wake up my hubby but I've somewhat broken myself of that habit.

Agreed -- also from NYC. Most people here stay relatively thin compared to the suburbs. Whenever I go home to my parents in suburbia I'm a little shocked by how large people are!

Been there done that. Life time high = 185, low as an adult = 142, climbed back to 166, now working my way back down. It is hard to lose weight and it is easy to get complacent once you get to goal weight. They key is to keep tracking...

Yeah.. they are definitely a little loose at the top. The problem is that I have really wide calves (16") so I need to buy wide calf boots to have them fit and can therefore only buy on zappos for the most part.

This happened to me. Just use an anti-fungal (athlete's foot cream) and it'll go away. Try not to hang out in your wet sports bra or anything and sleep topless at night. It'll go away in less than a week. If it doesn't go to the dr and they'll give your Rx strength stuff.

I started at 180+ in 2008 and was down to 142 in July 2011 (fit in size 6/8 US). I was pretty satisfied with my body then other than my flabby arms.
