There are no test that you doctor can run that will tell you if you have an intolerance with Wheat/Gluten. So, your best bet is just to elimate those foods and see if your symptons go away. You'll notice within a week.

I eliminated wheat/gluten but I still eat grains & sugars. I lost inches in my stomach but I didn't really start losing weight until I started watching my calorie intake. I eat Gluten-Free frozen pizza, some gluten-free cookies, candy (skittles, starburst), white rice, potatoes so I don't feel too deprived. I still hate…

On Sunday, I performed yard work for almost 4hrs where I was doing a lot bending down with my back. I was sore but didn't think much of it. On Monday, I did my 4th session of Stronglifts 5X5. Tuesday afternoon I got a terrible pain on my left lower side. I had to leave work early to lay down and rest. I'm not sure if this…

The manager was not at the gym today so I'll find out tomorrow if I can cancel my membership. I'm going to start looking for home equipment as well. Thanks for the replies

Bump. I haven't found one that works for me yet. I tried the Now Sports and it made me itch.

You might have a wheat/gluten intolerance. When you eat healthy, foods with these ingredients are usually eliminated.

I weigh myself daily first thing in the morning but I only record it once a week. Even if I go up, I still record it.

Try to stay away from the Gluten free substitutes when you first start out. So try eating meat, fruit, vegetables, rice and potatoes. Then gradually add in gluten free grains and see how your body reacts. This method is cheaper than paying to get tested.

Not sure how a small fibroid is a health scare for you. I've had one the size of a grapefruit and was able to function just fine. Also, not sure why you would ask for advice on a site that is built around counting calories when you do not count calories.

What do you consider to be healthy eating? I use to get really bad breakouts on my face and was itching all over my body. I went to regular doctor, dermatologist and allergist. No one could figure out the problem and they all wanted to have me take some kind of medicine to address the issue. I didn't want to just cover up…

Try eliminating wheat & gluten from your diet for at least a month. Take measurements around your stomach area before & after.

Thanks. I learned something new today. I never tried clicking that button.

I started yesterday. Is there an app to log your information? I do not like the paper & pen method of recording your workout.

I forgot to add that I plan to start the Strong Curves Twelve-Week Booty-ful Beginnings Program next week. I plan to do it 3 days/week. I meet with a trainer at the gym next week to make sure I'm lifting correctly.

I lost 5lbs & 3 inches off my stomach when I wouldn't wheat/gluten free. I have to count calories in order to get the scale to move.

You can add me. My diary is always open.

My allergist doctor told me that there are no test for a sensitivity to wheat/gluten.

I've been doing the workout about 3 days per week. So, I've been on week 1 for about 2 weeks. I still have not been able to do week 1 without making modications. So, I'm wondering if I should stay on 1 week for now.
